I feel with 5 and two great TE’s that will be fine. Also, likely we get 1-2 in the portal.

The elite running backs and a Qb that is an excellent runner will lead us to a much improved offense next year.

29 catches - 439 yards and 5 tds.

clearly the high bar of what we are looking for. 33% is a large failing grade and still doesnt and shouldnt give anyone confidence that portal will benefit the wr room.

I don't disagree with you, moreso include the Super Bowl Champion part in jest because I didn't see an NFL receiver at all when he was here. When I went and checked the stats myself, I would have sworn he was more like 40 catches and 650 yards, but I think that's probably just because he made some big catches that year.

The history isn't there for sure that they are going to succeed in adding a portal receiver (or 2 or 3), but have to hope they see how dire the situation is and the boosters/FUND act accordingly.

Need 10-12 talented wrs for practice, 6 good enough and ready to play in games and do well in case of injury and depth , but really only about 4 will get majority of targets

I do believe that Tyler was partially right...the WR roster at this point is catastrophic, not the overall. I think it will be telling if some TEs leave as well as RBs that Porker is the problem.

I know a few of you are saying don't be concerned, but when close to 50% of 1 position group is transferring..thats an issue...and someone also posted that our WR transfer portal acquisitions have been abysmal...including the Super Bowl champ

It is not. Assuming healthy with the current roster and who is coming in, it would be a solid upgrade over what we had last year. People can't control their emotions even when it's their job to be objective.
