If Nico WAS screwed over, I would bet the house on it having being leaked already. There is like a 0% chance he would let his name be dragged through the mud like this if he had been jobbed.
Does this 0 percent include the possibility of a Legally binding non disclosure clause in the agreement? Are 100% certain there isn’t a NDL? Just curious. Considering there are no legislated rules on disclosure of the components of any agreement, a NDL would preserve rights on both sides.

I’m not a lawyer, but if a party that is included in the agreement has materially breached it, would that not take precedence over the breaking the NDA? Also, let’s say he breaches this NDA, when they go to enforce it, isn’t the information already public at that point and if they aren’t fulfilling the contract wouldn’t they be able to offset damages from the breach agains the nonpayment?

His future earning potential is crushed from this situation, if he was to take the hit of breaking this NDA, it would likely be recouped through future NFL earnings that are now off the table with this.

I’m not a lawyer either and there is no requirement to make these agreements public. They are literally between the athlete and the collective and whomever they give knowledge to. and I don’t know what was in his agreement or either party lives up to it.

So until Nico’s agreement with whomever paid him is made public no one knows who is in the fight or who is in the wrong.

The only public legal suit I know of is Rashad suing Florida. I don’t think there is much publicly available knowledge on what the breech of contract includes but the exact details of his agreements are still not publically known.

And I’d say it’s in both parties interests to not publicize any of these anyway in case legal issues arise later just like Rashada. He claims he was promised certain things and Florida didn’t follow through on.

The point has always been there is a whole lot of 100%certain or zero chance of this or that occurring and no one knows jack shit to support these edgy assertions. Least of all to use them to tar and feather a person with.

So he wants to go back to UCLA to join his brother? Should he not be able to do so? If the agreement prevents him from doing so in any way I m sure its spelled out in the agreement and any contractual obligations should hold and he and the collective should honor them. If it’s not spelled out then shame on them.

If Arkansas is looking to enforce the agreement, I wonder if money was paid without certain obligations being met?

damn what a reality check for this kid and his family. demands an absurd NIL increase as the incumbent starter, doesnt get it, forced to transfer, and then gets beat out for the job.

Could have just kept his mouth shut and been the starter at UT.

Well he doesn’t play defense. UCLA was pushed around on D like super soft bitches. Couldn’t stop anything Utah did on the ground. Tackling was atrocious. Don’t know where they got this coach but probably the worst and cheapest one yet.

Hope coaches use him and DJ U as the ultimately cautionary tales.

Don’t just chase paycheck kids, it will cost you in the long run.

Where is the greedy kid from UNLV that thought he was da best QB ever? They were better without him. Sometimes it’s the coach and the system and not the player.

They should use it for themselves as well. If the only reason a kid is coming to your school is the $, maybe you shouldn’t recruit them.
