Offered sometime recently.

Loy says there is something here. Has met with ND via Zoom numerous times per OU site and had another Zoom meeting with the staff tonight.

My favorite SDE in the class. I see Kareem Khalid 2.0 but might end up inside.

It'll be interesting if the want him inside. Read an article he is up to about 275 now. Seems like he is approaching 3 tech territory. OU wants him inside

Guys at ISD reaffirmed what Crus posted. Gilliam has spoken with staff and done research on ND so there is some legit interest.

Comes from an ELITE high school program. His high school coach played at Va Tech, but has beef with the in-state schools for not recruiting his guys so I could see us being in play.

Man I would love another Kareem. You can never have enough warriors like him on the field

These are the kind of kids that if you keep stocking up on will close out games late. Not to mention since DL gets rotated so much they tend to make an early impact.

Hopefully he can be the Foskey of the 2021 class.

Loy: "Simply put, Notre Dame expects to land him, while the Sooners expect to keep him committed." https://247sports.com/college/notre...tre-Dame-Football-Recruiting-Scoop-154683095/

I had no idea ND was that confident

I did not get the impression from his interview with Rivals but maybe he's telling them something different privately. He even kind of called out the staff for trying to get something going with a big time prospect late while momentum is high. Pretty transparent right there. But I guess we'll see.

Pretty sure we’re looking at him at DT and increased our efforts after Franklin’s transfer.

This sounds like a pathetic talking point that came directly from OU’s staff. “They’re only recruiting you because they just beat the #1 team in the country and we lost to Kansas State.”

Tim Prister on the II podcast today said that Kelvin is "expected" to be a commit.

It further support this, Singer at BGI has also been quite optimistic about this recruitment very recently. This felt to me like the classic case of getting in too late and making a run but coming up short. Maybe that's not the case. If we win this recruitment Elston gets a raise

Elston def deserves a raise with the way he's been recruiting these past couple years.

Loy's interview yesterday on OFD echoed similar reporting. ND staff is confident they will sign him. However, Oklahoma staff is confident they will keep him too and it could be the case of the kid wanting to please everyone. Or telling people what they want to hear.

I'm optimistic where there's smoke, there's fire. With a player with Air Force, Duke, Northwestern, Stanford, and Vanderbilt offers, he likely has his head on straight and ND is appealing for more than their current excellent football product.

The funny thing is that historically the majority of the time we're in the opposite situation (i.e. we have the recruit, and an opponent is confident they'll flip) it goes against us. That gives me some optimism. But Oklahoma is one of those schools that's willing to throw around cash and do other "southern" style crootin' so who knows. Could get wild.

If we win this recruitment, I'll run around the baked three times at night.

Edwards too? Make it during the day

Things are changing and what's best about it is we are doing it the right way. That way takes a little longer but we're getting close...

Stay the course, trust the process and we will do this.

Yeah I really hope Prister wasn't overstating, because on the podcast he basically made it sound like Gilliam was a silent.
