Does Colzie rejoining the class and Thomas potentially committing allow Styles to move to defensive back? Many people have said Styles is better on defense than offense.

that's saying a lot considering how awesome styles is on offense. if styles moves to defense I wonder if that helps ND land his younger brother.

Prister is pretty adamant about moving him to defense if the numbers allow it. Offense or defense, just put him where he'll be most successful.

Given what Mike Mickens is capable of, I would leave him on offense. I think Mickens can get and develop quality CBs.

Pretty great freebie:

I don’t see a reason why Keys can’t be that guy in the slot but I’m all for Styles getting that chance, also have him in the return game too

In a different year? They are or they arent? the year really shouldnt impact it. I am assuming that they have a hard cap on the number of 5:s: they can hand out, which is dumb.

I agree that it shouldn't impact it. But this is why it does. 247 views their 5 stars as the 32 1st rd picks. And anyone after that is a high 4 star. FWIW.

Plus (although this argument doesn't hold up when looking at two consecutive years) players are 5* because of how good they are relative to their peers. Plenty of 4*s today could have been 5*s years ago.

The context, as I took it, was that if he had an opportunity to go to The Opening, he could prove himself against the top talent, and if he looked there like he looks on film, he'd have a shot at the 5th star. This year is unique in that sense.

I haven't seen the reason why Keys CAN be the guy.
Agreed. It would be great to see him make the leap, but nothing has really shown me that he has it in him. From the podcasts I’ve listened to, the guys in the know haven’t seemed to think that he can either. At times they have been higher on Joe Wilkins than they have been on Keys.

He is getting loads of touch downs returning kick offs and punts.

Super dynamic athlete. I know there is going to be some concern about not getting Thornton but we got a guy that can be a game changer in Lorenzo.

I love the stiff-arm to his own blocker on the kick return so he could get outside, used the dead-leg to keep his balance, and then hit the after-burners.

Kids got some wheels. I like that he goes north and doesn’t waste time going east and west.

I went to the same high school that this kid goes to and they are head and shoulders above any other team in the central Ohio area. He is the best player on the field every week.

Lorenzo's Pickerington North squad defeated in State Title game by St Xavier. A 30 point first quarter blew this one open early.

That return was beautiful, unfortunate for Lorenzo though. Onwards to great things at ND.

They gave up 4 TD's to an unranked WR named Jalen Patterson in the first quarter.

Folks want elite players. Well this is what they look like.

He’s outside the top 100. The staff needs to be better.

Wait, per that article... he's not actually being considered for corner, right?

I think the staff loves him at both positions, but he will start with offense.

Honestly he's good enough at both that I wish he could play both sides as a frosh. Get him situational touches on offense as he learns that and play him on D. Perhaps let him do returns. He's just that good.
