Lol. I know him. He went to a tiny school in the town right next to mine. He had lots of talent and size. Terrible in pass pro (never had to). Couldn’t block (never had to). He’s had some “issues” here and recently moved away.

Better than I thought. I know he's not "electric", but is faster than I first thought. I think his 6-2ish frame makes him look slower than he is. Has pretty good patience and vision. And he's not unathletic either. He jumped over a few guys in the film.

Anyone know his 40?

Small world ... I'm from Niagara Falls. He was the year ahead of me so I followed his career pretty close... not surprised about the troubles, he had a fd up childhood if I recall correctly.. Bit he could bulldoze his way through a defense and had a solid college career.

Our offense will certainly take a step back in 2021 without Book, but ND is stronger top-to-bottom right now than its been in the last 27 years. What little success USC has had is all smoke and mirrors. So it's fair to say that the Trojans losing their best skill player is likely to have a far greater impact on them than the Irish losing Book.
