Damn, that is some just enjoyable RB film. Will be pumped to add a guy like this to the class. Not hard to see his game translate to the next level.

Not sure if related but MSU took a transfer RB from Auburn last night

The strength, speed, balance combo is really impressive. If he can read a block, find the hole, and cut, he could be elite.

But even if he can’t do that at a high level, he still looks like a true power RB to me, in the sense that even the defense is selling out to stop the run, I really can’t see him getting stopped before he gets a yard or two—unless the OLine just totally blows it.

We haven’t had a true power back for a long time—Robert Hughes as a senior.

It's pretty undeniable that Estime is a top RB prospect and this is a huge get. When he popped up on our radar, I watched his film and Donovan Edwards' film back to back and texted one of the recruiting analysts that Estime was better. He told me I was "crazy"... but Estime is the kind of kid that ends up at a Wisconsin most years and then runs for a billion yards.

I like this guy.

I’m lazy and don’t feel like digging, what is his 40? He seems fast but that it is hard to tell in HS film.

Worry about his lateral agility but similar to Josh Adams, once he gets going he's really tough to bring down. Should be a recipe for success behind our OL. I don't think Josh would have had nearly the success he had in 2017 if he wasn't running behind the best OL in college football.

I was wondering if I was the only one who thought this. I really miss Josh Adams' HR capability

I want him because we need at least 1 RB, but I don't know if he'll ever be a starter at ND. My hope is we just signed AJ Dillion part duex, but I don't see the speed or quickness to get through tight lanes and that's a big deal for RBs.

So I'm glad we're taking him but I don't necessarily have high expectations for him. And I think that's OK?

Like AJ Dillon, he will make his own lanes.

Agreed. I see little different between the two. Edwards has better top end speed, but I'd give the edge to Estime in some other categories.

Not OK!

At worst, he's the other guy in a great EB back room and that's OK because the Bus was the other guy to Reggie Brooks his last year in South Bend.
