Yeah but Kelly just said they were expecting to sign 2 RBs, not that they would be signing in the next few days. At least that was my understanding.

Polian said possible additionS in the next 48. My guess is Khari Gee is getting his academics sorted through then we'll hear something.

Maybe Deshun Murrell? I thought it was strange that he Decommitted and is presumably down to UCLA and Penn State but for some reason is waiting until last day (tomorrow) of early signing period like he is buying time for something... Maybe staff told him you are # 3 after Estime and Diggs as they sensed Diggs' wavering. In meanwhile, they are having discussions with Murrell and maybe vetting things while they give Diggs and Estime time to make their early signing period decision, but maybe give them until Friday morning and if we only get one (or neither Diggs or Estime), then they offer Murrell and he signs on? Also, we know Aupiu mentioned trying to get Murrell to ND. This is 110% speculation but I am wondering?

He truly has it all.

Natural body lean, wiggle in a crowd of tacklers, enough burst to beat safeties, looks like he protects the ball when fighting for extra yards, etc.

I am over the moon about him.

He’s a very good compliment to Tyree. Since I always look at things as a 2 year cycle, this pleases me. Ideally, I’d like to couple another speed guy with him but I don’t think that’s in the cards. Hopefully speed is top of the menu next cycle which I think it will be.

What about They tell Diggs now or never because they have Deshun Murrell on deck and then tomorrow, if Diggs continues to spout out "February" they offer Murrell before his announcement and he flips to ND (and they have been vetting him over past couple of weeks and this was the plan all along?) Maybe? I love Murrel but I don’t think he’s in the cards. But, I guess we’ll see.

Yeah, just been a lurker and never even took the time to see how to reply here up until now, LOL. Stumbled upon this site probably 5-6 years ago, but finally created a profile 4 years ago. I did type up my background as ND fan recently in the new user thread, but I don't think it posted anywhere. What's funny is I work in SaaS as an account manager so you would think I could figure this stuff out. Anyway, as I said, it just seems funny that Murrell is apparently down to only UCLA & Penn State but is waiting until later today to sign, again, like he is buying time....

I have to say. Estime and Gee might not be rated as five star guys, but to be able to come in late on quality recruits already committed to Tier 2 type programs (one of which just won a national championship last year) and snag them up in a matter of weeks is absolutely amazing.

We might not have the bag men that some of the SEC schools have, but holy cow that is some impressive recruiting power, and I don't think it happens if we don't churn out the season like we have.
