It just depends on how you see Leonard. If you just look at his numbers (at offensive powerhouse Duke) then you won’t be impressed. If you value his physical tools and think he can put together an elite healthy season, there’s no doubt you take him for 2024

I predict Angeli has a good bowl game and transfers to Boston College, has a nice 2024 and transfers back to ND to compete with CJ Carr for the 25 starting QB job.

Funny I said the same thing, but instead of BC, I said Vandy or Rutgers.

I don't actually mean Carr....I mean there is going to come a day with this portal that we have a star player that bounces. It's inevitable, and will 1000% happen one day as it would be silly to think it doesn't. Do you really believe 2009 Jimmy Clausen sticks around in this climate?? He'd be at UGA or USC so fast our heads would spin. Just saying, it's great to pluck these players and I love it....But one day we will be on the other side of things. As I believe everyone will be.
Well yeah, if we ever stink that hard again we'll lose good players.

Didn't know where to post this so - I'm putting it here

In regards of '24 forward. Especially with all the NIL transfers coming in..... I don't know how much Jenkins stepping down is of importance. But, the importance of who is coming in after Swar-floor-brick....

I don't think many realize what Peter Bevacqua is going to bring to ND athletics - especially the Football aspect.

With NIL... I expect some more changes coming - Maybe JC transfers??, i.e., 'Portal' players/NBC contract; to start building the Irish back to viable Powerhouse.

The new playoff format will bring more $$$s to the institution and we all know as Catholics, means more sacramental wine.

I hope this acquisition of Bevacqua is a game-changer.

Lol my very specific and changing version of developing a QB isn't met by a person I have a personal vendetta against so of course I'm right

Could you help me understand the purpose of this sentence? Is it to make fun of the Catholic church? I'm having a hard time understanding how it fits with everything?

This reminds me of the scene in the South Park movie where everyone goes to Hell, and they're all asking why they ended up there, and they're like, "it was actually the Mormons. The Mormons got it right."
An Irish priest is driving down to New York and gets
stopped for speeding in Connecticut.
The state trooper smells alcohol on the priest's breath
and then sees an empty wine bottle on the floor of the car.
He says, "Sir, have you been drinking?"
"Just water," says the priest.
The trooper says, "Then why do I smell wine?"
The priest looks at the bottle and says, "Good Lord!
He's done it again!"

I went into the confessional box after many years of being away from the Catholic Church.

Inside, I found a fully equipped bar with Guinness on tap.

On one wall, there was a row of decanters with fine Irish whiskey and Waterford crystal glasses. On the other wall was a dazzling array of the finest cigars and chocolates.

When the priest came in, I said to him, "Father, forgive me, for it's been a very long time since I've been to confession, but I must first admit that the confessional box is much more inviting than it used to be."

He replied, "You moron, you're on my side."
