This can't hurt. OL about to get paid....It's hard to hate this guy. Hopefully they play hard for him.

Maybe. The season is just starting. Are you trying to hate him?
I will say although I'm pretty bummed about Riley's passing numbers, there was a stretch in I think the 2nd quarter where 3-4 snaps in close succession were coming in perilously low. I think one even hit the ground. Riley handled all of those extremely, extremely well and turned what could have been devastating turnovers into positive yardage plays. If he had fucked those up we probably would have lost the game, so hey, if we've got a "game manager" at least we've got one who is quick on his feet to deal with those sorts of issues.
I am sure some may be put off by his discussions on faith, particularly regarding God. However, for me, this only deepens my respect for him. Whether he identifies as Catholic or Protestant, his embodiment of Christian principles aligns closely with the values that Notre Dame claims to uphold. In a world that often shies away from public expressions of faith, his authenticity and commitment to those values stand as a compelling testament to the institution’s moral and spiritual mission. Are you trying to hate him?
Was anyone talking about this? I just saw a few people questioning why we didn't throw downfield more. (for very good reason given our OL and their DL).I am sure some may be put off by his discussions on faith, particularly regarding God. However, for me, this only deepens my respect for him. It’s ironic that many of the most successful Olympians this year have been just as outspoken about their Christian faith. Far from holding them back, their commitment to God seems to have fueled their drive and success. It’s clear that expressing one’s beliefs publicly doesn’t hinder performance — in fact, it might just enhance it.
Him and the TE's.....Hopefully he improves his passing game

This is just inaccurate. In a world that often shies away from public expressions of faith
"1st of all, I want to thank God." - every athlete in every interview. This is just inaccurate.
Are you trying to say Jesus Christ can’t hit a curveball? If Christ can help him be a more accurate deep ball thrower, I'll be convinced.
Are you trying to say Jesus Christ can’t hit a curveball?
Exactly. Once I started to see the game play out, it just showed Denbrock knows what he’s doing.Man I cant figure out the thinking here. A&Ms plan was to blitz the crap out of the brand new OL of ND. Everyone knew this going into it. They brought everything plus the kitchen sink. The Safeties played short yardage with the plan being to give Leonard zero time to pass. If ND allowed multiple sacks, people would be screaming about how the OC was an idiot putting first time OLmen against 5 star pass rushers. Clearly the game plan was always set this way and the pass playbook will open up as the OL gets more familiar and experienced. Jeez take the win and move on with a smile.
If he could have he'd have made the majors. Instead he played overseas. Are you trying to say Jesus Christ can’t hit a curveball?
Where he once hit a bases empty grand slam.If he could have he'd have made the majors. Instead he played overseas.
The thing about getting 1,000 yards at FIU is it was 1,000 yards against the teams FIU plays.I have no doubt that Riley Leonard's passing game will get better (it will have to). ND has 2 dynamic RB's and they showcased that vs A&M. In order to beat A&M we had to run the ball.
Just like our o-line getting better with each game so will our passing game. How will our TE get used? Can ND find a deep threat? Can ND find a #1 WR? Kris Mitchell had over 1,000 yards last year with FIU- get him the ball.
I would agree FIU competition is different vs ND, but asking for a 1,000 yard receiver isn't a tall task. ND has had playmakers before at WR.The thing about getting 1,000 yards at FIU is it was 1,000 yards against the teams FIU plays.
