no heisman odds on fanduel yet...............

Pete Fiutak did a write up on this a couple days ago on collegefootballnews.com

Who will watch the watchlist?

8. 2024 Notre Dame starting quarterback

It’s Riley Leonard - maybe. As of right now the former Duke starter isn’t officially signed, sealed, or delivered, but it’ll be a massive shock if he isn’t it. He’s got high-end NFL Draft pick talent if he’s healthy - which he wasn’t for most of this season - and it’s Notre Dame. He’ll have every chance to shine.

Manning is probably going to OSU realistically. A Manning is going to reconnect with a Harrison. That's big $$$ right there, the NIL will be a good investment for them.
Manning isn't going anywhere. His Dad is planting his roots in Austin at an all in rate.

I'm also in the camp of him being highly overrated.

It could all be wishful thinking, but there's been a lot of talk on the OSU sites of Manning heading to Columbus with McCord bolting. There's also the fact Ewers could be coming back for another year which will certainly affect the QBs on roster at Texas.

Is that an upgrade?

No clue, might just be a lack of confidence in Devin Brown and the rest of the QB room. Aside from Gebbia who was a transfer from 2 other schools their other QB is a true freshman. Then of course there's Brown who is a RS freshmen who couldn't best McCord.

I really like what ND is doing offensively for 2024.

Going back to the RPO with one of the best athletes at QB coupled with experienced JD Price and J Love, with Payne being no slouch either. We'll remain an in-the-trenches, power running team and probably even better than in 2023.

And when we do throw, we're not making any guesses at WR (Tobias Ferryweather could develop! Braylon James might be bit time one day!). No - instead we get OSU's #1 QB target and are going after big bodied, proven, 3 and 4 year WRs who've played big time ball, all three of them (assuming we get Jamal Banks at worst).

This offense is going to be a pain to stop and they're going to bully you. And if Golden sticks around, our defense will be great again.

No idea if true and I didn't hear this before, but sounds like BQ isn't even part of FUND anymore. Sounds like there was some turmoil internally with him wanting to be different and some of the other heavy hitters wanting to play ball.

Solidly mediocre. I would rather us go 8-3 with Angelli or Carr than go 9-2 with Leonard. Develop our recruited players...they want to be here for 3-4 years and a small cheque rather than 1 year and a big cheque. We have landed decent QB's from average programs...not good.

My son is due in May. We are naming him Brady because of BQ. I still support the other heavy hitters wanting to play ball

Pretty sure NDFan69 is Prister's burner. See a lot of posts like that from him.
