I feel like we all knew the team was void of a lot of “freaks” but filled with a bunch of ballers. X, Kiser, Mills, etc. BenMo maybe the only high profile guy, and his injury derailed that.

Shough might have been lowkey the best QB we played all season last year. That TD he sidearmed to a guy crossing in the back of the endzone with Bowen bearing down hard on him was ridiculous.

….this list however, is the most uneducated, non researched thing an analysis has put out recently. And that’s saying something.

Malachi Nelson???? So he just checked recruiting rankings clearly. USC -> Boise St -> UTEP. 20 CAREER passing attempts with 0 TDs, 1 INT. Full stop.

Arch attempted 95 passes total over 2 years and is a redshirt soph entering this season. Even if he plays great, that family gets it. Highly likely he isn’t coming out.

Lamaleava is a raw project, also redshirt soph
Dante is a redshirt soph too….idk how NFL teams would feel about guys with bumpy roads and low experience as high draft picks. Would any on that list come out with a day 3 grade??? Vs make 1-2 mil in college for another year?

Beck had 28 TDs and 12 INTs last year and lost his job at Georgia, etc

Many of our most “talented” players were either Hurt or underclassmen. J Love, Jagusah, Knapp, Craig, Bryce Young, Traore, Leonard Moore, Christian Gray, KVA, Bowen, Schuler are all likely to be top half of the draft guys.

Doesn’t count Price, Greathouse, Faison, Ausberry, Sneed, Onye, or the other talented OL either who are likely to be drafted as well.

Probably why he said COULD be and not WILL be. Very unlikely that all those guys hit next year but there is a lot of raw talent in that group.
