Just watched Chris Cole and holy shit, that kid is now my favorite backer prospect in the class. I might get some heat for this comp, but he gives off serious Jaylon Smith vibes, especially with his coverage ability. Some of those clips.... it's like they turned a jaguar loose on the field.
How he is still unrated is ridiculous. The offer list is that of a high 4*. Hope the staff can lock him up before he blows up any more.

I believe Wiltfong just posted that he will OV to ND. Cole also has OVs set up to Miami & Georgia.

Yeah, his film is fun. He is sort of everywhere. But, you see the length and movement skills. 6'3" 210 (according to Ryan Roberts), he's a perfect ROVER candidate.

Going into the visit ND wasn’t really in serious contention for him, but leaving the visit ND jumped up to probably co-leaders.
The only problem with that is the post-visit high will probably wear off in time so ND needs to keep it going on his OV.

I think ND has their board pretty much narrowed down. They will stay on who they want. Cole scheduling an OV says alot.

They LOVE Cole.
I’m not going to say he is above Viliamu-Asa on their board…but he might be.
They think he is NFL caliber.

Is it fair to say that the experts are going to bestow a fourth star on him? The highlights are utterly explosive and the offer list is impressive enough.

His HS DC lines him up all over. They have him deep in the middle of the field, on the LOS, like someone said earlier...he's everything, everywhere, all at once.

To me the question isn't the 4th star, but the 5th (doubtful, i know). I'd have a hard time seeing 50 better prospects with the way this kid moves and his seeming ability to make plays all over the field.
