I am more concerned about the offensive line. Coogan was downright bad at times last year. Reports were that baker got destroyed by Botelho. I was hoping Wagner would be the right tackle. His weight on the website is a whopping 281 lbs. there is no way he can be a starter at that weight. He needs to gain 25 lbs.
I really don't pay much attention to OT vs. EDGE "battles" until the pads are on. What's Baker supposed to do, pancake him with no pads?

Besides, early camp almost always favors defense vs. an offense, particularly during a new install.

I think the media only had access to a few periods today, so might be slim pickins.

I did see Pete was raving about Jayden Harrison's speed again, that's about it.

Pete really driving the Jayden Harrison hype train.... after two practice sessions.

I feel like he (and others) did the same with Lawrence Keys for three years.

I haven't gotten around to watching any clips yet but I'm assuming no pads yet? Seems this happens every year with a few guys before the pads and contact start.

Well - beat writers also got excited back during fall camp about Faison.

Sometimes beat writers can be smarter than (some) coaches....

I'm not sure there's a practice clip over the years that has as much nothing as this one did (media got in very limited viewing).

Those same beat writers were saying Faison's not physically ready to play lol
Sure, they didn't want to make a prediction for a frosh walk on WR to have an actual big role. If stuckey had his way, he wouldn't have.

With that said, at the WR position all fall camp they pretty much said he was the quickest WR and best at getting separation. At WR that's physically ready to play.

According to reports, he's dealing with an injury. Not serious, but it sounds like the staff is being cautious.
I really hope Raridon can have one healthy year at ND. I feel terrible for any athlete who has consistent injuries. Nothing worse for competitors than not even getting a chance to compete because of injury. Hope he has a good supporting cast in his personal life to keep him healthy mentally.

I can't even explain how impressive it would be for Raridon to have a great season or two and go play in the NFL. To do that after 2 major knee surgeries derailed the start of your college year would be unbelievable (as close to unbelievable as you can get).

The physical work, then mental hurdle to get over not once but twice is so difficult at this level of competition.

Kid was impressive coming in, right? Hopefully he stays healthy, he was just getting his feet wet toward the end of the season after Mitch went down.
