Why? Our staring rb had 2.6ypcLol. We had 236 yds rushing against Oregon State. That doesn’t happen if Tosh sucks.
Dee durr our 2nd rb had 8.2 ypc…Why? Our staring rb had 2.6ypc
And over half that came on one carry.Dee durr our 2nd rb had 8.2 ypc…
"starting RB" declared for the draft. Why? Our staring rb had 2.6ypc
So Love didn't start?"starting RB" declared for the draft.
You know it was a 1a/1b platoon in that game, but you just have to keep your always negative narrative alive. Love had 15 carries, Price had 13 carries.
"starting RB" gmafb
Angeli started the game, but he wasn't our starting QB in 2023. You're splitting hairs and you know it.So Love didn't start?
What this is all about - Do you think ND can have a really good oline in 2024 with Baker starting at RT? Personally, i think it will be the obvious weak link of the entire offense and probably cost us a close game somewhere.
Didn't ask you to predict a player costing us a game. I made a prediction because i'm not scared to say what I think instead of pretending like we have a perfect team every year. I asked if we can have a really good Oline in 2024 with Baker at RT? We'll know right away at A&M.Angeli started the game, but he wasn't our starting QB in 2023. You're splitting hairs and you know it.
I believe ND will put the best man at RT and across the entire OL in 2024, and no, I don't think I'm in a position to predict what player will cost us a close game in 2024 in frickin March.
Love would have every reason not to like it as it’s less likely he gets on the field in those packagesit is funny to me how fans and some folks in media love all the 12/13 personnel and the heavy sets because it reminds them of days gone by/manball and all that but you can tell the players don't really like it all. Love's comments this week were quite striking IMO
It's much harder to consistently execute with the athleticism on dlines in modern football. It's not who can out push out leverage who anymore. That sometimes happens if a team is really struggling on their fits (see clemson vs ND in 2022) or one team just has that big of a physical advantage (see ND vs Stanford in 2023) but it's not a recipe for consistent success.it is funny to me how fans and some folks in media love all the 12/13 personnel and the heavy sets because it reminds them of days gone by/manball and all that but you can tell the players don't really like it all. I don’t post all that often but I’ve been lucky enough to be a member here for over a decade, and you alone are making this site the most unenjoyable it’s been in that decade +
GIVE IT A REST !
12 and especially 13 personnel can't be the base of a high level college football offense. There are plenty of teams with high level offenses that are base 11 personnel and also run some 12/20/21/etc. personnel.it is funny to me how fans and some folks in media love all the 12/13 personnel and the heavy sets because it reminds them of days gone by/manball and all that but you can tell the players don't really like it all. DISCUSSION of football is very, very welcome here. Spewing the same negative shit over and over and over and over is what is frowned upon. Why can’t people discuss football on a football message board?
What a concept, instead of coming here for high fives from your buddies
One of the talking heads said something to the effect of Kelly got blasted by Alabama in 2012 and spent the rest of his tenure trying to recreate Alabama's 2012 team.it is funny to me how fans and some folks in media love all the 12/13 personnel and the heavy sets because it reminds them of days gone by/manball and all that but you can tell the players don't really like it all. This is not inaccurate. One of the talking heads said something to the effect of Kelly got blasted by Alabama in 2012 and spent the rest of his tenure trying to recreate Alabama's 2012 team.
I don't mind the 12 personnel stuff but ideally you should be able to also do the opposite to some degree and ND hasn't been able to spread the field when the situation called for it.
