I'd probably expect to see Harper closer to 31 rather than 41 among safeties, but this is not considered a strong crop of safeties this year, so I don't really know that it matters. He just needs to be on someone's board and get picked or signed as an URFA.

The 2025 Draft is going to have some really good safeties in it, though.

Jayden Daniels to the Commanders would just prove the new ownership is the same as the last. He is a terrible draft prospect and almost guaranteed to bust.

Why? Haven't been following draft prospects but he seems legit.

1. He's very old and sucked without being surrounded by elite talent. He had one good year.
2. His style of play is incredibly injury prone and a lot of it won't work in the NFL.
3. He is inaccurate on many important types of throws.

You are basically being asked to bank on him being able to utilize athleticism to overcome arm talent issues and that rarely if ever works.

I continue to be shocked that some NFL teams have Jayden as the top QB on their board.

I never get why NFL GMs give so much credit to QBs throwing to first round WR talent, let alone two first round WR talents. Justin Fields being a great example throwing to Olave and Wilson at OSU.

Shrader as #5 kicker seems crazy. Big leg but hard to imagine him ever making a team with his accuracy.

Besides Burrow I'm struggling to think of another that worked out. I guess Stroud? And maybe T Law (I totally believe Justyn Ross would've been a high pick if he didn't have health concerns).

LSU has two of the top WR in this draft. I can't help but look at that, and I can't help but notice the amount of Texas WR in this draft as well as it pertains to Ewers next year. Penix also has two highly rated WR attached to him at UW in this draft as well. I think Jerry Rice's kid is projected to go 4th or 5th round with relation to Caleb Williams and USC.

Daniels may well be a late bloomer, but he takes too many risks when he runs, and he's not the runner Lamar Jackson is. Better passer, but the dude leaves his feet a lot which would scare the shit out of me if I was a GM/HC/OC.

Really don't like anyone outside of Caleb and Maye, just feels like so many teams need a QB and are willing to reach for a potential starter.

Daniels - like Lax said above, tons of questions marks, red flags
McCarthy - Carried his whole career, rarely made big time throws
Penix - Injury problems, questionable accuracy, great WRs
Nix - Checkdown merchant

Maye is the pick of the litter imo. McCarthy sucks, has an extremely long throwing motion and frequently not on point with throws.

Colts should be taking a WR at 15. Richardson needs more targets besides Pittman.

I’d be okay with Brock Bowers too - if he somehow makes it that far. Nobody in the Colts TE room is a true difference maker imo.

Feels like McCarthy shot up draft boards way late because of two (2) throws he made against Ohio State.

He started as a trendy pick as an early first-rounder before the season.... then faded wayyyyyyyy down when people realized how limited he was in scUM's offense.

Now he's back because he made a couple good throws late in the season.

Either teams are way overvaluing a small sample, or McCarthy is being used like a rag-doll for smoke-screening and negotiating for teams picking from 4-11
