We absolutely MUST get to Howard early and create some doubt. He currently thinks he's the best QB in America.

Sorry guys. We just have too much uncertainty and too many injuries on both lines. Bucs 35-24

I pray to the Blessed Mother, I’m wrong.

What time do you expect kickoff? Says 7:30. Do you think they’ll actually kickoff at that time.

You know, I was pretty freaking confident Notre Dame would be Georgia. I really was. I just had that feeling.

Penn State, I was a little worried, but still felt confident that Notre Dame would win. What worried me was the team would be spent after going "all in" on Georgia and just being emotionally and physically exhausted. Couple that with a couple of days less rest while Penn State was playing SMU and Boise and having a couple of more days off also concerned me, but I still thought Notre Dame would win.

Right now, on Thursday, I'm having "my head thinks this," but "my heart says this" predictions. I'm going to wait a couple of more days before pulling the trigger on my prediction ......

FUCK IT ....

This game will require BOTH our offense playing their best game AND our defense playing our best game. But this year feels like destiny and we find a way one more time.

I have 100% confidence that we will make this a game deep into the 4th quarter.

My head says that our injuries are finally too much to overcome.

My heart says it's finally our time.

I'm going with the heart.

ND is up 17-14 late in the fourth. Ohio St scores the go ahead TD with 4 minutes left and Fowler creams himself talking about a drive for the ages. ND proceeds to show their resilience one last time and scores the game winner with under a minute to go. ND 24-OSU 21

I'm very worried about our OL against their NFL DL. Just don't see us holding up..... hope to God I'm wrong. OSU 21 - ND 17

If we're going to win, our defense has to absolutely stonewall them. Our secondary has to lock them down and force interceptions. Our front 7 has to be reminiscent of the Georgia game and just create utter chaos. Constant pressure. We cannot give him huge, momentum shifting plays either (Their screen right before half against Texas that went 80 yards for a TD).

It wouldn't hurt if our special teams helped us out either .... Jeter comes up big and goes 3/3.

Notre Dame - 16
Ohio State - 14

Receiver steps out of bounds, regains possession and catches it for a would be touchdown, called back and we win.

I do have this feeling at times that OSU believes their own greatness and get on the field expecting victory; meanwhile MMFF and staff are grinding away and scheming. Monday comes and Love, Price, and Williams are running and running & catching (some for TDs!) all over the place. And Evans, Faison and our new WR star, Jaden Greathouse are running and YAC-ing all over the field (some for TDs!). Irish by a landslide and they win their first natty chip since January 1989, 36 f---ing years later.... Go Irish!!! 🍀🍀🍀
