I think this is where it ends. This team has grit, but they’ve lost too much.

Apologies for the delay in closing the loop on this year's prediction poll, it was a combination of being on paternity leave and requiring some time to process the unfortunate ending to an otherwise incredible season.

Congrats to @tko and @Pops Freshenmeyer, our Prediction Poll co-champions for the 24-25 football season, with 6 wins apiece.

And thank you all for your participation again this year, it's fun to bring these to you, even though I, for one, am dogshit at predicting these lol. See ya'll back here in 200ish days.

+outside of possibly DT and 1 safety ND didn’t lose their most talented player at any position . Maybe Prister is onto something for this year.

Riley Leonard was a baller, no doubt. He brought an intensity that was rarely matched by others. He played with heart, coupled with great athletic ability. He will be missed

But Riley Leonard playing quarterback was like Michael Jordan playing baseball. Okay Leonard was better at QB than Jordan was at baseball. But you get the idea. Leonard was not a QB by design. Carr is a QB. And I think ND will actually be better offensively for it and harder to stop because of it this year.

Coaching, game plan, team culture (belief in each other) Thoughts??
Culture cannot be understated. I heard on the Irish Illustrated pod that Western Michigan & another mid-level sent their staff to ND and they couldn’t get over how the culture emanated from everywhere in the program.
