But those were needs.

ND has met it needs.
They don’t need anyone at any position. They want Lambert, not just any 4th OL, and they want Nelson, not just any 2nd TE.
Only thing I could see would be some big time WR wants in later on or if some other OT blows up & ND didn’t get Lambert.

Unless Parker tweaks the offense, I think a 2nd TE is kind of a need. 12 personnel requires more tight ends on the roster. Back to back classes of only one TE isn't great for the TE depth.

I think there’s zero chance this class is done. They could land Rushing, Beasley, Lambert, and Nelson and they’d still add to that.

I think this year is a year where ND will be recruiting kids hard, even if they commit elsewhere this summer.
They obviously are recruiting Beasley hard, I think they will recruit Scott hard if he commits to Miami, I think they will recruit Lambert hard if he commits elsewhere & same with KVA.
I’m not sure how hard they will recruit Rushing or Nelson if they commit to Oregon & Nebraska.

Miami vs. Georgia feels like money now (NIL) vs. money later (NFL). Either way yeah it'll be a large surprise if he winds up Irish. Too bad, but OK. We gave it a good shot, but if he's looking that hard at Miami he's not buying what we're selling.

The freeman is so cool wore off last august. Need to actually show development and coaching ability this year. Since last august we’ve landed more 3 stars than 4/5 stars, and that’s no including the decommits from 23 class.

I do think we’ll show development and have a great year, and we can gain momentum.

But we’re recruiting like Ty right now. Yes I think we have a solid class but it will finish closer to 23 than a top 5 class that we need.

Lambert, rushing, Scott, kva, Johnson, Nelson … land 5 of them and prove me wrong!
