i hear that Micah Hudson pure speed and athletic wise is a freak and that every big program wants or will want. don't know if true but heard him and James in our 23 class workout together or just workout at the same place

Braylon James - trainer part definitely true. His highlight reel is true highlight reel. It’d probably say he’s my WR #1 but his HUDL is not filmed well, can’t see him start half the plays just finish, camera is on the QB. Someone get him his own camera focus this fall.

Which of our top 2024 targets do we have the most traction with right now? Haven't heard much about Woodyard recently.

I’d say Justin Scott, Kaleb Beasley, and Tae Tae Johnson. I still think we lead for Woodyard and that he’ll ultimately choose ND.

To be fair we don't even know how the 23' class is gonna finish.

Precisely, and the threads discussing the '23 finish have become tedious, polluted, desperate, maudlin and boring.

'24? A fresh young thing. Spicy, juicy

further strategic planning matters..................

So with a very good shot at Wingo and Scott and already having CJ Carr, not to mention all the insane talent that is high on ND for ‘24, is this looking like a contender for best ND class in the modern era and quite possibly #1 overall? From my view it is looking that way.

I hope so. So many years with recruiting it's always "check out next year, we are in for so many great recruits" and then we don't hit on a lot of them.

Not like the best ever recruiting class for ND would stop people from complaining about it.

Somebody asked Shaun Davis if Lightfoot was a take right now and he said yes.
Then someone else asked how all of Davis-Swain, Wafle, Rushing, Scott, Lightfoot, Smith & Smith could all be takes, going into their Junior year?
How could 7 DL all be takes and all this early with so much time for new DL to emerge?

Good question and I don’t really have an answer. I would assume it’s a first come, first serve basis. No way they’re taking 7 DL.

The premise of the discussion was kids that could commit soon, as in before their season starts & those were the names mentioned.
The point was, Rushing being a take no matter what, what if the Smith twins & Lightfoot all wanted to commit yesterday, and Scott too? That would give ND 6 commits with Rushing as the no matter what guy.
Shaun mentioned they all would be takes, so it added up to 7, which was the discussion.
ND could have had 6 DL commits by today with Rushing still there.
Who would ND have said no to yesterday?

I guess I don’t get the issue. That is true of every position group. I don’t think most of those guys stood a chance of committing yesterday or the immediate future so not really a current consideration. Very much a cross that bridge once it comes, not a bad problem to have thing

Is that BK's surf board on the shelf?
no i believe his surf board had light blue and was much larger than would fit in that shelf space.
