First 30 minutes ok then we crumbled. Stretch featured turnovers,missed shots and layups given up. And no rebounds when we needed them.
Elon’s coach is Billy Taylor, played for ND in the 90’s. Macleod era. Ironic since this game reminded me of that era

Pitiful D the whole game and pitiful offense during the final stretch. Really discouraging loss, as I was thinking maybe...just maybe this team could be okay. Wrong.

Pretty terrible game overall. Burton hitting a couple 3s was really the only reason we are in that game, IMO.

No, they’re not legit. They were picked to finish around 12th in their conference.

Notre Dame lost because they are not a good basketball team.

Knee surgery No timeline given I suppose if it was an ACL tear they would have said he was out for the season.

They said on the II pod that they are expecting back this season but might not be until February.

I honestly hope Shrews is just saving Tae’s legs. He’s not lethal, but pretty good at driving and making a play to score. Haven’t gone cold on 3s yet, but guessing that’s next move if Burton isn’t back after half.

Wow. Incredible game. I have no idea what Certa was doing at the end of OT. Makes an intentional foul with 8 seconds left right after ND tied it up. Kid must have thought Rutgers was winning. But that play cost them the game.

Irish in a close one vs Syracuse in the ACC opener. Irish have led the majority of the game, but it’s been really close. Would be great to start off ACC play with a win at home!
