Without NIL they have a 5 star QB and DE in this class right now for a3 five stars and like 18 or 19 4-star receuits. Is this for real? In the current climate of college football and the way ND does things comparatively speaking, this class is phenomenal. Particularly coming off an 8-4 season while experiencing some first year head coach growing pains. They pretty much rebuilt the WR room in 1 class, and have quite a bit of backend talent coming in which have been two areas of concern for the better part of the last decade.
The university meeds to give MF at least a LITTLE bit of leeway in regards to how aggressively he can play the game, but the guy is more than capable and knows exactly what the game is.

Both Burnham and Gobaira seem like guys that could be great pass rushers in the future. I worry about their development timeline though, especially as Washington is still a bit unproven in that regard

He's from Maryland so Penn State makes sense due to proximity, but if he was verbally committed to Northwestern, this is exactly the kind of dude whose door ND should be knocking on from the get go. Three star player that probably should be a four and was looking at Northwestern as an HS prospect from Maryland. Duke offer, Stanford offer, Charlie Partridge from Pitt offered him.

I hope Robinson considers ND but it feels like too little too late. You and I had an exchange about Robinson in the Tyler Gant thread over the summer. I like his game.

Probably too late to get involved, but could be worth putting a feeler out with the Illini DC leaving. Composite 4 star mainly because on3 rates him way high.

If he's a corner and that Illinois staff offered him, you have to take a look for sure.

Not to mention his offer list isn't anything to be concerned about with regards to admissions or football. Duke, Army, BC, GT, Wake, Vanderbilt all indicate he can handle school. Kentucky, Pitt, Wisconsin are good football offers as well.

Lovies staff. Yes. Lovie did not recruit what so ever. That said, They could of just been grasping for straws to get bodies in there. The bielema staff are the ones who developed the kids.
