I found an interesting Scholarship breakdown..had no idea Dom Campbell left...so looks like right now 5 scholarships used with Ryan...8 to give right? So if Shrewsberry can resign the 2 players who had left and brings the 3 Penn State recruits...3 more spots, get at least 1 Big

I'm kind of surprised by this. I would think he'd be an integral part of what they planned to do going forward.

Surprising yes, but it also makes me wonder if Shrewsbury gave him the break down, and ultimately didn't think he was a fit? Because according to the recruiting sites, Penn State never recruited him, and Shrewsbury also had film on him from this past season. It would be hard to believe that Lubin would still bolt out if coach made him feel like he was a big part going forward.

Or maybe Lubin didn't want to be part of a rebuild of the roster. Who knows.

Seems kinda shortsighted by him. I took his comments as not wanting to be part of a rebuild. Given what Shews is doing, wouldn’t be surprised if ND is back in the tourney his junior year. Very disappointed

It's not like incredibly shitty roster management was a new thing. And the transfer portal has all of CBB upside down with a third of players shuffling around every year. And volumes of 6th year players on the market. Easier than ever to rebuild - Shrews will be fine.

It's going to be rare going forward in college basketball that most of the roster doesnt depart after a coach leaves. Need a Coach K to Scheyer type scenario for it to not implode.
