Jim Mora Jr taking UConn bowling in year one. Good for him & the Huskies
We may play them in the Pinstripe bowl.

How's the defense been? We're lacking any real playmakers in the receiving corp. OL is not much better than average. Great RB 1, but average backups. A couple of studs on D, but the rest are no better than average. Two average at best coordinators.
ImpossibleThe Texas and TCU offenses somehow look worse than NDs second half offense so far
I'm gonna just flat out say it. The SEC West is just not good.
Alabama looks really underwhelming. They're not bad, but I don't think they're better than Clemson at this point. Young is great when he wants to be. Problem is that Young is really inconsistent and he doesn't have a Jameson Williams to throw to this year. The defense is meh. They've had to escape 3 times against mediocre competition.
Yes, Ole Miss is mediocre. I thought Kiffin would have this team firing, but their offense with Dart is just really average. They're 11th but to this point, they've yet to win a game against a decent team. Kentucky was their "signature" win and they just lost to Vanderbilt at home. Their biggest win might actually be Troy.
I don't think we need to elaborate on Auburn or A&M. They both suck.
Arkansas is disappointingly bad. Thought they'd be better.
Mississippi State is meh.
Kelly jumped in at the perfect time, because I'm not convinced any of these programs are going to turn it around. Saban is looking like he's at the end of the line and his teams haven't looked overly impressive even last year. They've had to rely heavily on impact transfers. A&M went all-in on a guy who showed he's willing to let a program culture rot for the sake of winning, but A&M seemed to already be at the point of program rot without the success that FSU got to enjoy beforehand. Auburn is...well, Auburn.
Overall, we may be seeing the power dynamic in the SEC shift back to the East.

Tbf. This Alabama team is nothing like the past ones he faced.lol, if that makes you feel better.
1st season away from ND and he's beating Alabama and winning the SEC West.

You can't honestly think the SEC West or Alabama look anywhere near their usual dominant selves.lol, if that makes you feel better.
