Nope. I am no expert but they really good QB's that goo to the NFL and are ok. Take some skill players and some protection for them and get you a QB next year.
That assumes there will be a prospect next year that they will be in a position to draft better than Stroud or Young.

Purdue has lots of holes in their game and LSU really took advantage of them

Lincoln and Caleb are really going to have to revaluate whether they want Alex Grinch running the defense at whatever school they’re at in 23.
At what point is it a Riley problem?
OU defenses stunk under Riley before Grinch got there, & Grinch was good elsewhere.

A few years back, there was a discussion on Rivals about this same subject because a former OU player went public about Riley not giving two shits about defense.

The player talked about how the practices are all geared to the offense & Lincoln was never with the D. And during “team” if the offense got stopped, instead of crediting the defense he would just have the offense keep going until it was fixed, but if the offense did good he would just move on & not spend time letting the defense fix their problems.
Said Riley would tell them he just needed them to get a couple stops a game because the offense would score every time.

And if you watch him at OU & now USC, he doesn’t seem to understand how to help his D. If they are dragging, he doesn’t slow things down on offense, he still hurried & if they go 3 & out, taking 15 seconds off the clock, he puts his gassed D in a horrible situation. He always did that at OU.

I think Riley wanting to win every game 65-55 is the problem.

As good as our backs are, missing on Singleton when we were so close to nabbing him seems huge. Absolute stud and future first round pick.
Agreed, complete back that powered it on the wing “T” TD and just ran away from everyone on the last TD run!

This is why Buddy Ryan punched Gilbride in the face.

PSU, Oregon, FSU and ND (assuming Hartman) will all be trendy 2023 pre season teams.

It was huge because Singleton is a straight beast. We all knew it when we missed out on him. It was a damn shame we couldn't get him to join. But I really hope JD returns 100% because I want to see what he's capable of.

Caleb Williams also no showed at the presser but did speak to USC reporters afterwards separately. Can you imagine if a ND coach/QB did this?

How healthy is Price? Is he looking at being cleared by Spring?

looked jacked in bowl prep workouts but nobody knows anything else. lets hope hes a go for spring
I’m actually a little worried he might have put on too much upper body muscle.

His training tapes his coach put out of him doing speed, agility, long jump, explosions, etc…the off-season before he came to ND were very impressive. I thought he looked perfect there. Then the ND staff said he already had the body to play as a true freshman when he was practicing at ND.

Upper body weight, even if muscle, is not great for someone coming off a lower leg injury, especially when other muscles, tendons, ligaments, can be affected during recovery. I hope the weight doesn’t cause more long term problems.
