With a Kansas offer, I am inclined to think that Lawrence is the final destination.
A few crystal balls for Kansas today. But it appears those are just guesses. Jackson has kept things under wrap to the point nobody really knows. They did point out that Jackson is an Under Armour dude and Notre Dame is the only UA school in his finalists. Still not likely, but you never know.

Announcement at 8 pm Eastern

They held a practice yesterday open to the public. Per Noie, Dom Campbell looked really good. I would still assume he redshirts, unless injuries pile up.

And, per John Rothstein, Ven-Allen Lubin is starting day 1. I guess I’m not surprised because the early reports stated he looked really good physically.

Has ND ever had 2 true freshman in the starting lineup? I know that JJ is the highlight of this class, but Ven-Allen Lubin seems like he is going to be fun to watch.

What this team could've been if Blake would've stayed....

Torin Francis and Chris Thomas?

And imagine if Blake stayed AND they had gotten Jaden Ivey (and he had stayed for his Jr year.) That’s a final four caliber team.

And gotten Atkinson for another year as they should’ve been able to…

1982-83: Jim Dolan (6.3 ppg) & Tim Kempton (10.6ppg) started as Frosh...Frosh Ken Barlow & Joe Price were top reserves

Chris Thomas was a Frosh in 2001-02) & Torin Francis came a year later (2002-03)

'Ever' is a long time.....Vince Boryla Frosh was the leading scorer for the Irish as a Frosh in 1944-45.....fellow starter George Ratterman(FB QB) was a second semester Frosh during the 1st semester of that season(so two Frosh starters for awhile)...having enrolled at ND mid year the year before(and played BB as a 1st semester Frosh)

Ratterman was a 4 sport letterman(FB, BB, Baseball + great tennis player too) & was booted out of ND prior to the 1947 football season...reportedly for trying to run his car up the steps of the Golden Dome

I think this team is final 4 worthy if Blake would've stayed.

I thought Ivey was better his freshman year, he had more poise & passion.

Pretty lackluster exhibition game to start the year, and a very interesting lineup too...

I do hope they don't plan on employing Nate at the 5 all year, because it will get VERY ugly on the boards.

Season starts tonight. That is, for almost everybody. We don't start until Thrusday, vs Radford.
14 of the 15 ACC teams play tonight, all vs lower end teams, all at home. So tonight won't tell us much.

Duke and UNC on the ACCN tonight FWIW.

Recruits are pretty highly rated by 247 Burton and Parker F are 4 star and Dunlap a high 3 star. Should get plenty of playing time early since half our roster is 5th year guys.

Irish hoops start tonight! 8 PM ET on ACCN against Radford.

Radford played Marquette pretty tough in their opener on Tuesday, lost by 10. Hopefully the boys are ready to roll. Pretty excited to see JJ Starling in action.
