That's how it's supposed to be. Team 1 and 2 get home field preference over 3 and 4. That's an official rule.

Would have been nice to have OSU or UGA push Bama. Bama will get a few early 3 and outs, score on every possession they don't turn it over and drop at least a 50 burger on OU. Bama's punter will not travel.

UGA does pass the eye test, as they "should" have beaten Bama, but it is a second loss. I'd put them above OSU. OSU has one loss, but it was a shellacking by Purdue.
