Steelers would be a borderline perfect landing spot for Kizer. Would fit in well there and that's one of the few teams where I could see him being successful... 1-2 years of grooming under Roethlisberger, then take over with a talented roster around him.

Thought the exact same thing. He doesn't need to step in right away and they are a quality organization. I greatly dislike the Steelers but I suppose I'd root for Kizer if he ends up there.

I don't think the Steelers want to spend their 1st on a QB though. Even though Big Ben is a big baby and is "mulling retirement", they still want to go all-in on him while they can.

I think Arizona would be a great spot as well, but no clue what their offensive plan is post-Arians.

Trying to think of others where he could sit for a year or two and be in a good offensive situation...

Texans
Chargers (maybe--need to see new offense)
Chiefs
Giants (I think Eli is closer to done than people realize)
Redskins (if they actually are hell-bent on not giving Cousins a long-term deal)

I think the Steelers could draft a QB in the second round or maybe even the first if they really like the guy. They seem to be serious with their interest in a few QBs and after Mahomes the QB talent really seems to drop off. With Ben being 35 and not super committed I think QB is probably their third most important position, behind OLB and ILB and before RB. OLB is really deep this year for pass rushers so they could get a good one in the second and outside of Foster and MacMillan I don't think there is an ILB worthy of a top two round pick.

You don't like Cunningham or the kid from Temple for ILB? Haason Reddick?

I completely forgot about Reddick as most seem to put him in the late teens to twenties now so like Foster he may not be available at 30. He would definitely be in the conversation for that first pick though if available.

I'm not a big enough fan of Cunningham to take him in the second round if I were the Steelers

Steelers could consider QB in 1st round this year if they find one they like. Need an edge rusher and another corner and this draft is deep at both those positions.

Cole at 4.6 is disappointing. Thought he would be 4.5-4.55. Anyway his best chance in the league is at nickel. 4.6 is not bad for a nickel.

James O running a 4.7 is a great time for him. IMO one of the biggest combine snubs. I think James has a high chance of getting drafted.

Sebastian...that is horrible. Hope that one is not accurate or he is hurt.

Can't embed, but Rapoport just tweeted something along the lines of "After his strong pro day, Kizer is working out with the Chargers. Already worked out for the Jets and Browns."

How could anyone think Avery is a NFL prospect? He wasn't even average on our sorry D this year!? CFL or bust.

I'm really starting to worry that he will be gone by 12.

On the upside I'm already counting koons 5 trillion vbucks he will owe me since Watson is dropping like a stone.

Here's a video from scout/irishillustrated.com that shows all of Kizer's throws from pro day. To me it looked like he threw about 4 uncatchable balls and 1 or 2 more that hit the receivers hands but would have been difficult catches. There were a lot of drops.
