...the "censorship" you refer to is not active censorship conducted by the government, but rather what you see as censorship when news organizations choose what to produce, and more appropriately to the current situation...what they allow to be distributed w/o license. THAT IS NOT CENSORSHIP by any real definition.

It is my understanding that the type of "censorship" you refer to is the very reason FOX news exists...the market "solved" a very long standing and pervasive injustice in the media...liberal bias. And based on the numbers there was at least the perception of it since FOX kicks everyone's ass...point is, greed will eventually resolve bias. BTW, I'd sign a petition to squeeze CNN, because what they are doing isn't even handed, but that is the market exerting its will, which is how things should work.

I have come to a point where I have 0 motivation to restrict freedom of speech or the right to bear arms beyond what we currently have on the books.

That's only ~$35k per year. Definitely doable if he's an IT type. You can make some decent money without any real effort on your part just running diagnostic cybersecurity tests for companies. Typically, it's more about garnering enough business. With that said, ~$35k isn't exactly easy for a high school kid and undergrad who has to spend most of his time in class.

35k/year take home. Which means more like 50kish, which means he was either running a shakedown business or he was a FTE from age 16-22 while attending Notre Dame and starting his long path of becoming "da wiz".

Compared with pre-debate polling, Sanders' support is up five points since mid-September, but no other candidate showed significant change.

Despite their positive feelings toward Biden, debate-watchers are more apt than others to say Biden should stay out of the contest (61% think he should not run, compared with 43% of those who did not watch) and they are far more likely to be satisfied with the Democratic field generally (84% compared with 64% among those who didn't watch).

Income inequality appears to be the most divisive issue, with women, older voters, those without college degrees, moderates and those with lower incomes more apt to trust Clinton on the issue, while those with college degrees, liberals, and urbanites are more likely to favor Sanders.

And on gun policy, there's a sharp gender divide. Women are far more likely to say they trust Clinton to handle it than men, 50% to 37%. Democratic gun owners are more evenly split on the question, with 35% saying they trust Clinton most on gun policy, 27% Sanders and 21% Biden. Among those Democrats who do not own guns, it's 48% Clinton, 21% Biden and 16% Sanders.

Two months before the fatal 2012 terrorist attack on the U.S. compound in Benghazi, then-Ambassador Chris Stevens requested 13 security personnel to help him safely travel around Libya, according to a cable reviewed by Fox News -- but he was turned down.

In the July 9, 2012 cable, Stevens reported that, "Overall security conditions continue to be unpredictable, with large numbers of armed groups and individuals not under control of the central government, and frequent clashes in Tripoli and other major population centers." The cable said 13 security personnel would be the "minimum" needed for "transportation security and incident response capability."

But a congressional source said Patrick Kennedy, a deputy to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, turned down the request.

The cable sent under Stevens' electronic signature shows that he was advocating for additional security and warning that the set-up did not meet State Department standards, as conditions deteriorated in the run-up to the attack that killed Stevens and three other Americans.

I'd take Biden over Clinton obviously but Biden isn't changing shit in Washington. Especially at a time when it looks like one of our worst policies shows signs of cracks, the War on Drugs, I don't care for having a man who had a sizeable hand in it run the show.

It's got to be hurting. Somewhere I read today that he is $60 million behind in raising campaign funds. He's late in hiring staff to set up state campaigns.

He's also in a squeeze with the unions. Hillary is cosing up to the unions with her attack on the PTT she helped to craft. Now she says it's all wrong as she distances herself from the Obama Administration.

Biden who is still on the Obama team facing a vote on PTT gets caught trying to court the unions and Democrat Reps and Senators who oppose the PTT while standing with his President. Or does he join Hillary in attacking the PTT.

It's gonna take all of Joe's political savy to negotiate that mine field.

Former Virginia Sen. Jim Webb will announce Tuesday that he will drop his bid for the Democratic presidential nomination.
In an email to reporters on Monday evening, Webb's campaign said that he is considering running as an independent. Webb will hold a news conference later Tuesday in Washington to detail his plans.

News of Webb's decision was first reported by Fox News. According to Fox, Webb is not planning to announce an independent bid on Tuesday, but is "expected to take some time after his announcement to talk with people from across the political spectrum before making a decision."
Webb has struggled to raise cash against his Democratic opponents and has reported taking in just under $697,000 in his recent filing statement with less than $317,000 on hand — less than Harvard law professor Larry Lessig, who did not qualify for last week's debate in Las Vegas, an event where Webb felt he did not get enough time to speak. In the same period, Hillary Clinton raised nearly $30 million with $25.7 million on hand.
