We haven't offered this guy yet? His Senior film looks great...reminds me a little of Emmit Smith. Has any other talent ever come out of his school?

Damn that's awesome you can look into the future. Tell me the powerball numbers for the next year.

Seemingly, out of all the 2015 RBs we appear to be after currently, this is the kid I feel most comfortable saying "ND should be in the mix for going forward".

It appears CBK and co. are evaluating early 2015 prospects, hence all the offers going out. Within the next couple of weeks, we need to see '(Offer)' next to this kid's name.

in all honesty i don't see anything special here...i know the competition he plays in which is some of the top in PA(which the teams he is playing against have about 1-2 div 1 players and several div ii players)...but he doesn't display great speed, vision, breaking tackles etc..he is good but wouldn't be a homerun commit

lol looked through the thread and saw i posted just about the same thing in oct...

And I think this is probably why the staff will slow play him. He would be a fine second RB for the class, but I assume he would commit shortly after getting an offer. You have to think their are a few guys ahead of him on the board they would rather have. I would be very happy with him in the class, but like you say, not a homerun. There is a whole year to figure this out yet so they don't need to rush the offer

Yep he reminds me of Mahone. Great kid and good prospect but I think we'll be looking at bigger names early on.

I LOVE IT. Huge get for Franklin and PSU. Keeping the bigtime PA kids in state is great news. PSU needs to be good again bc they will be able to recruit against osu/michigan easy and that will lead to the B10 being balanced again.......and continue the power shift from the SEC

good for them, we are going for the home run back. He is a good and could end up being very good at Penn State, but I am excited for the backs we are going after.

I agree with this. This kid isnt elite by any means but its nice to see PSU keep instate talent. I cant ever cheer for USC or SCUM but every elite player that doesnt sign with the SEC is a win in my book. I honestly dont care where it is as long as its outside that conference.

As far as Robinson, staff got a look at him in person and didnt offer. I think he's a plan C guy which tells you how far we've come in recruiting and team talent. Bigger fish out there at this point.

How does more Midwest teams getting their own local Midwest recruits help contribute to a power shift from the SEC? The way I see it, PSU recruiting well will only water down the other top B1G teams and will prevent the OSU's from being better.

If PSU were starting to cherry-pick Southern recruits, then I would tend to agree with your point.
