I've been wondering the same thing. He's pretty nice to the gay folks....I think they've just been brainwashed.
By supporting the deregulation of the energy industry.?...uhhh yeah, if that hurts other people's feelings they can go hug a tree.
Oil & Coal are big in ND.
Has he said anything at all that was perceived to be anti-homosexual or anti-black?
Hispanics, women, Muslims I get it. But what are blacks and gays worried about?
We have a situation where we have our inner cities, African-American, Hispanics, are living in hell because it's so dangerous. You walk down the street, you get shot. In Chicago, they’ve had thousands of shootings, thousands, since January first. Thousands of shootings. And I’m saying where is this? Is this war-torn country? What are we doing? And we had to stop the violence. We have to bring back law in order.
In a place like Chicago, where thousands of people have been killed, thousands over the last number of years, in fact almost four thousand having killed since Barack Obama became president. Over four, almost four thousand people in Chicago have been killed. We have to bring back law and order. Now, whether or not in a place like Chicago, you do stop and frisk which worked very well Mayor Giuliani is here worked very well in New York.
It brought the crime rate way down but you take the gun away from criminals that should be having it. We have gangs roaming the street and in many cases they’re illegally here, illegal immigrants. And they have guns and they shoot people. And we have to be very strong and we have to be very vigilant. We have to be we had to know what we’re doing. Right now our police, in many cases, are afraid to do anything. We have to protect our inner cities because African-American communities are being decimated by crime.

"Hey hey! Ho ho! Fuck Trump, he's got to go."

Say what you want about Trump, but he has ALL THE BEST enemies. All the people I hate, hate Trump.
LolololololololI'm sure he does troll.
TO change gears from racisim... Trump will suposedly be selecting Myron Ebell to lead his EPA Transistion team. Ebell is probably one of the biggest Climate change skeptics.
President Trump Will Be Awful for Clean Energy, Climate Change Fight
So we can say goodbye to the Paris Accord and any standing we once had with China.
Its entirely possible they will dismantle any regulatory authority the EPA has.
Any support for alternative fuels will go away,
Trump has promised to bring coal jobs back to Kentucky and WV.
Fracking will most likely go faster than ever now...
Any regulations are now up for chopping with the Republican controlling all three branches of government.
I mean, from my perspective (and this is all I will say on this becasue I know several of you will love this and I have no desire to argue a point that will ultimately fall on deaf ears) is if there is a guy to pick that will undoubtedly wreck the EPA and any valid scientifically based policies, it will be Ebell. I cant imagine a worse person to develop policy for the EPA.
This is just the beginning. I know several of you have said that you hope he surround himself with intelligent people but he is not starting off great if this is true. I really think people will regret choosing this man to run the country.
This was right after Obergefell came out.

Trump on stop and frisk:
Now you might think Trump is right about what's going on in our cities and that reviving stop and frisk is a good thing. But most black communities sure as hell don't feel that way. Also his portrayal of life in the inner cities as "hell" is some weird cartoon stereotype.
So, yeah- I don't think it's crazy for blacks and gays to be scared. And this doesn't even touch on the rhetoric advanced by Trump's closest supporters.
Life in the ghetto is absolute hell. Listen to the stories.
So you're telling me that the black community gets to tell everyone how awful they have it in the inner cities and America...but when someone echoes that concern...they're racist?
Gimmie a break. Try again.

I don't need to listen to the stories because I live in the south side of chicago dude. Literally the ninth circle of trump's perceived hell. I'm sure the "ghetto" sounds super scary to someone living out on the high plains- and to be clear there are serious problems that need to be addressed- but it's not hell. And people sure as hell don't appreciate some billionaire who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth calling their home hell.
Look, I'm responding to a discrete question- why do blacks and gays feel threatened. I'm not making an argument that they should and I'm not looking to argue about substantive policy. My side lost, I get that.
But I've talked to multiple black and hispanic and gay and muslim people who have told me they feel much less welcome in this country today than they did yesterday. Whether right or wrong they interpret this election as a crystal clear message from much of the country that they're not wanted here.
I think it's an overreaction and a product of white-hot campaign rhetoric. But I also don't think it's crazy. Just like many here don't think it's crazy that Obama was racist against whites.

If that quote is the reason blacks are scared then that's plain silly.
So there's obviously a wide spectrum of opinions.
John Roberts did not vote to impose same-sex marriage in Obergefell. Trump was not talking about Obergefell in this tweet.

But they gladly listen when millionaires and billionaires who agree with them politically talk about it? Again....HA.
What makes them much less welcome today? What rights have they lost?
Because to me?? That's all BS and they are playing the card. Until anything gets passed that effects them, it's just playing the card and into the media hysteria. Just like they did when Obama got elected....it's BS hysteria.
What other case came down on 26 June 2015 that he would have been talking about?
John Roberts voted against same sex marriage...

Right, I'm not arguing about that. I'm certainly not making any assertions that Trump knew what the hell he was talking about or understands our judicial system well enough to grasp that.
All I'm saying is that's a really weird tweet to make on the day Obergefell came down if that's not what he was talking about.
