am I missing the profile on this kid?
I just made one
am I missing the profile on this kid?
"Yeah, I've talked to [off-field recruiting assistant] Aaryn Kearney a couple times and have been in touch with Coach Gilmore also," said Fant. "They have let me know that they are watching me and my tape and want to build a realationship and to stay in touch."
"To me, that would be a game changer," said Fant of a Notre Dame offer. "I know how much tradition is in that school and they play the best teams on their schedule. An offer would definitely be big for me."
That was probably facetious but I wholeheartedly believe in Gilmore. I think his track record speaks for itself. I want bodies with upside and I bet he makes the most of them. Now would I love Betiku in this class, obviously. However, that's a long shot so let's get guys we can build up. Similar to the 2014 class there are ballers that will be in this class that nobody cares about.
We need difference makers, not upside. We already have tons of potential. We need someone who can play an effective role year one. Looking more and more like 2017 might be our best shot at that, though.

If we start out 6-1 or 7-0, we should easily be able to fill out our last 7-8 spots with 4 and 5 star prospects.
Lucky - Panda - Midwest guys.
What's the take on Jovan Swann? I remember him from last year being a 6-2 250lb DT but I was talking to a friend of mine who officiates in the Indy area and he said Stanford just offered. He said he heard he's 6-3 275 now.
I looked up the ofer list and he's been raking since March.
Stanford, Michigan St, Mizzou, Miss St, UNC, BC, Minnesota, Iowa. 15 Power 5's plus UCinn.
Any word?
His top teams are big10 teams iowa, northwestern, Missouri one sec offer etc..Stanford will move most likely into his top group.....nothing noted on ND
Thanks Panda. I hear 25 additional pounds and Michigan St, Stanford, Mississippi St & Mizzou offers and it made me wonder. Thanks again.
Some new schools are fighting their way into Nate Craig's recruitment and are hoping to secure an official visit sometime in the fall. Craig, the nation's No. 1 wide receiver out of Tampa (Fla.) Catholic, says he's speaking heavily with the likes of Florida, Notre Dame, Ohio State, North Carolina and Miami, but plans on taking his time before locking in any visit dates.
Ohio State and Florida are two schools that have been connected to Craig's recruitment for a while now, but I thought it was interesting to hear about the additional three programs. When it comes to the pursuit of the 6-foot-3, 215-pound rising senior, Notre Dame is one school that's really had their foot on the accelerator and shown love for a number of months. There's mutual interest and Notre Dame is more than likely receiving an official visit at some point.
Ohio State running backs coach, Tony Alford, is the man handling Craig's recruitment for Urban Meyer and the defending national champion Buckeyes. Honestly, I'd be surprised if Ohio State doesn't land an official visit from this elite prospect. The Buckeyes have had a ton of success in the Sunshine State as of late, and recently landed Scout's No. 1 defensive end in Nick Bosa as well. Craig is one of Alford's primary targets in the class of 2016.

CB Troy Pride Jr., VT commit, gave some really positive praise of ND to BGI. Sounds like an OV is very likely and he's definitely giving us some thought.
He said that they've talked for the Texas and USC games. Like you said with Texas just around the corner USC seems most likely.
