Lmao! Glad to see Hayes is practicing with an edge but I can only imagine how Kelly reacted to that.

Idk. Maybe they had good days, but as a unit they had a rough day. I'm not worried though. They're young and I believe Denbrock will have his guys ready for Austin.

Thank you sir. I was originally thinking redshirt then I saw him in person. There's actually some really solid players in Vancouver especially in AAA ball. Claypool played AA. Vancouver high school football produces at least a few Div. 1 scholarship players every year. Having played HS ball here and coached for over ten years, I can confidently say he is by farthe best player I've seen in Canada HS in my lifetime. He looks GREAT physically and can run great routes, jump like crazy, sure hands, is tough as NAILS and very good after the catch and just a GREAT kid. Can't wait to see him play.

My biggest fear is he will get lost looking to make a cut at the 55 yard line

We always seem to have a guy that produces way more than we expect. Maybe this is our guy this year.

Of our TEs, he's the most similar to Aliz'e, so if Kelly is determined to run lots of 12 personnel, he'll probably have opportunities this year. But I kinda doubt that Kelly is going to force the downfield TE thing if we have better pass-catchers available. In other words, Weishar would probably have to be a better receiver than Smythe, St. Brown and Boykin to see much of the field this year.

There are days where it looks like Kizer or Zaire could get ND to 10 wins. This was one of those days in practice.— Irish Illustrated (@PeteSampson_) August 11, 2016
'Looks like' '10 wins'. Way to low expectations. Mediocrity
Lmao! Glad to see Hayes is practicing with an edge but I can only imagine how Kelly reacted to that.

Daelin Hayes sacked DeShone Kizer to the ground. Can count the number of times that’s happened in practice the past 7 years on one hand.— Irish Illustrated (@PeteSampson_) August 11, 2016
Practice how you play. But it wouldn't have happened if that was Zaire because the players like him better.....
Kelly on Daelin Hayes: "He’s that hybrid guy that can drop and come off the edge. He’s been impressive."— Irish Illustrated (@PeteSampson_) August 11, 2016
Perfect for BVG. He can drop into coverage.
BK: “We have been very pleased with Max Redfield. He has elevated to that level of consistent performer."— Irish Sports Daily (@ISDUpdate) August 11, 2016
