Assuming we're going to miss on Bilal, I'd really love to see us take a serious look at Toohill. I think he's currently very under the radar but could be a great LB. I think he camped at ND and I'm not sure how that went but he's got all the physical tools you need.

So realistically, which uncommitted recruits will actually end up at ND for the class of '15?

Jamabo, St. Brown, Gallimore, Wallace, Coney, Bilal, and Ross are all realistic options. Not saying they will all be Irish but there's a more than fair chance. Others are possible but longer shots.

Creative avi and username haha

If we ended up with those names, I would be happy. The class would be complete for me. Probably only a #6 class overall (on average among the 4 services).

I remember that. I also remember 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, and 2010.

Committed to Stanford. Sure he'll be a man child biting us in the ass in 3 years.

SMH... Literally entire family went to ND and we had him at camp. Better fit for 3-4 but I still really wish we'd landed him.

Can't find his profile for some reason but we didn't make Kendall Sheffields top 12

Loy sounds really high on Coney. Says he's more athletic than he expects, and can bring the wood. Says he's confident in his CB, even though most are for Florida.

Also noteworthy - Loy feels strongly that Patterson doesn't go to LSU. He said even if it's not ND, he'd bet on someone else rather than LSU.

Loy doesn't give a F about 247 CBs, lol. He's going against almost all of them.

Partly a shtick to get hits IMO.

And partly from the video demonstration less homerism (less the Malik - FSU thang), and more thoroughly researched intelligence.

Maybe an advantage of the whole situation with Loy being a FSU fan is we get more objective information about the ND recruiting situation, and all we have to do is look to other sources to confirm information about head to head ND-FSU battles.

I thought he had some particularly good information about Shea Patterson, things that other recruiting analysts hadn't a clue. And his understanding of what Malik Henry was looking for was particularly appealing to me. He got the coaching connection for Ross, and the value of a Ross, based upon the staff's cooling on Reid.

I would believe Loy at this point over an consensus of "popular" CB fuckawies.

Loy strengthens his case on video, as opposed to just print. His logic, and methodology which appear to be solid, come through better. Speaking of solids, Tom needs a new shirt!

I know. It's absolutely insane.

WHY WOULD A COUPLE KIDS GETTING KICKED OUT OF SCHOOL AFFECT YOUR COLLEGE CHOICE?!?!?!?!

The Tribune spoke with three high school seniors who have held the longest commitments to the Irish 2015 class – offensive lineman Jerry Tillery, Hoge, and safety Prentice McKinney.
Both Hoge and McKinney indicated that their commitments will remain unchanged regardless of the outcome.
“They’re individuals. I can’t judge a school by the individuals who committed the act,” Hoge said. “It’s not Notre Dame that’s cheating or committing this academic fraud, it’s those players. That’s how I look at it.”
Notre Dame’s recruiting class and recruiting targets will likely start hearing from opposing coaches and fans that will point to the reported transgressions as another example that Notre Dame sets a bar too high for its student-athletes.
That’s not a strategy that will impact McKinney, who committed to the Irish in March before visiting Notre Dame for the first time.
“I’m not the person that just quits on things,” McKinney said. “If it’s hard, eventually it pays off in the end.”
Tillery, who became Notre Dame’s first 2015 commitment back in June 2013, remains committed, but wants to learn more.
“Those are pretty key players for us,” Tillery said. “I don’t know. I haven’t gotten all the information yet. I’ll probably call (offensive line) coach (Harry) Hiestand in a few minutes to see what’s going on.”
The unknown ramifications of the reports leave Tillery in a wait-and-see-mode.
“It definitely has an effect,” Tillery said, “but I don’t know how it will affect me yet.”
Hoge, whose family already purchased a home in South Bend, committed to the Irish in September.
Tillery and Hoge have expressed plans to enroll early at Notre Dame in January.
“’I haven’t experienced how hard college is,” Hoge said, “but looking at it from my perspective, I look down upon cheating.”

hopefully someone doesn't take this the wrong way, but due to the fact that stupid stuff like this keeps happening I can see why a recruit would re-consider his ND commitment. seriously there's been soooo much weird stuff happening the past year and a half and yes ND comes down 100 times harder than other schools who just turn their back to these type of situations, but if i were a recruit i'd think twice about getting involved in this circus.

"sooo much weird stuff happening the past year and a half"

Please list the plethora of weird stuff in your glittering generality drive by.

"Circus"?

You sound like one of NDN's field turf/stadium expansion/jumbotron/Kelly never runs the ball hyperbole posters.

I'd like to hear all this things that stand out compared to Miami, UNC, Saban hiring Kiffin, PSU's continuing pedophile saga, among others.

The Fulmer Cup awarded ND 12 points for Will Mahone's incident. They neglected to adjust those numbers downward when he received 10 days for 4 misdemeanor offenses.

Here's the list of Fulmer Offenses from 1/1/14 thru 7/5/14.
