All of them are going to be tough pulls, especially Fitz, Greene and LS, but a man can dream. I think George Campbell is the best prospect in the class, but unfortunately I think there is no chance he winds up at ND.

Michigan does theirs early and it seems to work for them.

IMO having Junior Day earlier will only benefit us getting to see recruits in person, and hopefully get a lot more offers out sooner. Most of the other schools have their junior days early and we need to get on the bus at around the same time.

I think this should be a good year for recruiting, especially after we make a run to the playoffs.

Edit: In the offseason the kool aid runs free and realism will set in again closer to the season.

He already visited Bama twice, Miami, South Carolina, OSU, PSU, has plans to visit LSU and he does not look very interested in South Bend, he also barely mentions ND on interviews. These days ago he received a lot visits from coaches (Meyer himself among others) but not ND. Things can change quickly anyway..

Agree 100% with this. I really don't think we're in good shape w/ any of the 5 star defensive backs - at least not yet. I think Fitzpatrick may like having his ego stroked, maybe more than Peppers. Would love to land the kid - he's very good. Gut feeling is he ends up at tOSU or somewhere warm. At least that's how 95% of his interviews read.

Seems like the general consensus here. I was just wondering if we are involved in his recruiting at all. I know he mentioned us in some video a while back. I guess we will know soon enough. It is very early still.

Will be an interesting offseason prepping the offense. No TJ. No Martin. No Watt. No Niklas. They need Admiral Jr. to step up as a redzone threat. They'll need Chris Brown and Will Fuller to stretch the field. They're pretty set at RB, but the Oline is going to have to gel - would love to see Nick Martin take over the leadership role for the entire group. They'll also need one of the young TEs to step up next to Koyack. Not sure what to expect from the offense this year - low floor but high ceiling if that makes any sense.

I'm hoping Smythe becomes a big threat in the RZ too. If somebody could be a big RZ threat, Co-Rob could do it.
