I wasn't expecting to, I was hoping for 3 groups of 2, but separate singles would have been fine too.

I will keep my eye and ears open to see if anything comes available. I'll let you know Koon

Same. I'm going to see if I can get two singles in the alumni presale tonight and there's a chance that I only need one (pregnant wife probably won't travel).

we got 4 from a guy that he works with. just over double face. oh well, we're in the door.

A bullet? A fucking bullet?

I feel like someone just took my wallet, strapped it to a stick dynamite, slammed it into an unoiled cannon and launched it into shit's creek.

I really don't understand ticket sales.

How are there no tickets? Does that mean that the alumni network used up so many with their lottery because of the interest in the game?

I thought that no matter what, a school had to sell a portion of them to general public, but obviously not.

I'm going with a group of possibly six and we're traveling a ways, so waiting until a week before is personally not an option.

1 - Maybe you can get an Alumni to go on the ticket exchange for you for the game or you can fill out the following to get on the network as a friend (choose other for affiliation)

myNotreDame - Registration Help

2- Here is a decent wikihow on how to get ND football tickets and it explains things where the tickets go.

I'm so well liked on here so I'm sure that wouldn't be a problem. Lol.

Thanks! That is helpful.

You can rarely get six to any game.
Tickets go to season ticket holders, staff, alumni, donors, players families, then public. So when game is in high demand like UM and NC there is usually nome left for the public.

i lived in wilmington NC for 2 years. i joined the Wilmington alumni and fan group. they usually got 1 game where they received an unusual amount of tix. two years ago it was michigan at home to which i got 4 at face. last year was navy to which i got 6. and this year is NC to which i got 6. i wasn't expecting to get that many because i felt like more people would put in for this game as it was against NC, but because of that, they were given a larger allotment.
so, koon, there is some sort of difference game to game to which alum groups get however many. the alumni group has to request a certain number for whatever game(s), they want for their clubs use.

Is this a "loophole" to potential ticket access? All I do is check the box that says "I'm requesting an account"?

That is my understanding, yes. It will allow you to get on the exchange, since the exchange is for Alumni and Friends.

Aren't "friends" non-alumni who donate $1,500 per year?

From a lottery standpoint, yes. However, anyone can join the website I listed and have access to the Library online tools as well as the ticket exchange. This will not impact lottery, but could impact those who wish to get tickets to games at face value post lottery.

I got an email back immediately requesting my "year graduated" and my 10-digit ND ID. Looks like the road's closed lol.

I had my coworker try it. He got an email saying that it would take 2-5 days for non-Alumni record set up. After that email, he got the same one you did, but it was for Alumni registration only.

Unless some alum is a complete recluse, why would they submit Michigan tix through the exchange? Looks like a good option for some other games though.

Maybe they also have friends who are jerks and have fall weddings?

Anybody know the chances of me going down there on game day and just buying tickets off someone selling them? Pretty much scalping for tickets? Does this work at ND?

I'll post here in case anyone else missed it.

Thursday at 6pm, all ND home game tickets go on sale through the ND ticket office. All games that is except for Michigan game, of course. There's too high of a demand so the ND tix office isn't selling any to the general public.

So basically your options are scalping, hoping an alumn can get you a ticket, or buying off of stubhub or some other 3rd party (make sure you use lube if you go that route. Prices are extremely high).

ND tix office WILL have them for sale for the ND/Michigan game IF people happen to return tickets, but I honestly wouldn't count on that.

Scalping sounds like a good option, but with it being a night game, Michigan, etc., this is kind of a whole new animal, IMO.

So if I wanted to call Thursday at 6 PM and ask for like 3 tickets to Stanford and like 4 for Northewestern what are my chances?

Stanford and UNC are singles only now. UM sold out.

What do you mean singles? What if I wanted to bring my brother, you saying we couldn't sit together?

I have never been more confused on something that seems so damn simple
