A lot of mocks have the Rams taking Robinson at #2. Maybe they trade Bradford, take Johnny at #2, and draft someone like Zack Martin or Lewan at #13? I guess it's possible.

Who, from a QB standpoint, is expected to be around by #13? Given how none of the QB prospects are can't-miss, I'd rather lock down my franchise LT with the #2 and put a QB behind him with 13 if both are major needs. Could do that without losing your current QB too so that the new guy could actually develop. You can always trade Bradford if you get comfortable enough with the new guy.

Well I guess it matters what the Browns do. I think there is a good chance they take a QB at #4. Maybe the Rams really like Manziel and they are worried that if they don't take him at #2, then the Browns will take him at #4. Top draft prospects always slip down the draft board unexpectedly, maybe Matthews or Lewan slips to #13

I will seriously contemplate handing in my Browns fan card if they draft a QB with the 4th pick. There is not QB in this class worth the risk IMO.

Someone on ESPN had this to say about drafting Manziel, "teams are scared to death to draft him, and they are scared to death not to draft him". I think it was Kiper and I agree with him 100%

That might be true and I can see their point.

I also think the Browns front office knows that the last thing their fan base needs to witness is another 1st round QB bust.

As a Steelers fan, I just hope Watkins isn't sitting there at #4. I couldn't handle having to deal with Watkins and Josh Gordon twice a year

That is who I want and will not forgive anyone if they pick freaking Johnny football or Carr. I want Murray in the later rounds. Dude is Drew Brees' clone.

I'm here all day. I've been through The Drive and The Fumble, the Ravens winning Super Bowls, freaking bottle throwing and tons of freaking loses...

I really feel like I'm at a crossroads... I'm super excited at the idea of Watkins, and super angry at the thought of another wasted draft pick elsewhere...

The thing is that the Browns need someone to get them the ball lol

Use later picks. There is no discernible difference IMO between Carr, Bridgewater & Bortles. JFF has boom or bust written all over him. Why not pick a QB in round 2 or wait for guys that can still play, like AJ or Murray?

Browns fans that dont want Manziel (dont blame you), what would you guys do if the first three picks are Clowney-Mack-Watkins? I'd probably trade down if possible...

Also, would you guys be against JFF at 26? A dream scenario IMO would be Watkins at #4 and then getting JFF or Bridgewater at 26 if they slid that far.

I don't know any of the Browns needs, although I did get to see you guys play in person last year (Browns at Pats....sorry about that PI call)

Robinson, hands down. I don't think he slips though.

It's not the Browns pick, but my preference for the Raiders' pick at 5 is: trade down if possible, otherwise choose amongst Clowney->Robinson->Matthews->Watkins->Mack in that order. IMO, every team in the top 5 could legit use every one of those guys and they all would be great picks, although I think Clowney is clearly the #1. None of the QBs are worth 1st rd'ers.

Or even Matthews... I agree... though Clowney, Mack, Watkins, with the Browns at four???

Not sure I'm ready to live in a world where such horror is possible...

Those three seem like a lock to go 1-2-3 knowing Cleveland's luck...

I honestly do not understand for one second why the Jags aren't jumping on JFF... I really dont.

What projected first rounders do you guys think will be busts? By bust I mean 0 pro bowls and/or not a starter by year 2-3?

For me:

Manziel
Lewan
Justin Gilbert
Eric Ebron

I also think Clowney will never live up to his #1 pick but can probably make a pro bowl or two based on talent alone. I seriously question his work ethic.

They could all be busts... I'll be watching Clowney hard, that kid has talent at 'rarely, if ever, seen before' levels... but last year he showed what little he can do with it when he isn't all in...

According to Jay Glazer, more than 10 players pissed hot at the combine, including Seantrel Henderson (surprise!), Anthony Johnson, and Timmy Jernigan. Zach Mettenberger had a dilute sample - he and his agent claimed due to dehydration from ACL recovery.

It's not that these guys smoke weed, but they know they'll have pee at the combine and are too stupid to care. Teams consider that.

I know an employee of the Giants front office and this individual said the Giants really like Martin. The implication being that they might select him with their no. 1 pick.
