Am I missing something? The "grade" scale says it's out of 100 but guys are getting scores like 5.4 and 6.25.

Maybe they have not worked out yet? Looks like that is not till this weekend. Looks like they just have initial values so far.

I intend to continue my tradition of not watching a single second of the NFL combine.

2014 NFL Combine

In the other thread someone stated "not running due to injury." I'm taping the combine so not watching live to know what exactly is going on.

I see him on the field now for this next drill. Hamstring issue.

Is he that good though? I keep hearing all this hype about Lewan but have never seen anything on the field that screams sure thing. Lots of guys impress at the combine to find themselves overmatched when they get to the pros.

He was in conversation for being the first OT picked last year before he announced he was returning for his senior season.

The announcers are hyping up Martin so much. I love it.

Talking about ND now. How a few years ago we barely had any players at the combine and now we have 9.

I love hearing that! He really was a great one for us.

Just watched Michael Sam's presser. Impressive and well spoken young man. He seemed a bit nervous but handled it really well.

I don't know how Niklas can do this drill where the sprint down the field but he can't do the 40...

IMO most of these stats are meaning less to me. Just another huge money make for the National (Fund) Football League.

You may be right that they are meaningless when it comes to performance on the field (I disagree) but NFL GMs and coaches clearly make decisions based on many of these stats. See: Oakland Raiders.

I don't know he has extremely long arms though. I think 21 reps is acceptable.

It's acceptable in one sense but when he is going around telling everyone he should be the #1 pick AND there are major questions about work ethic I would think you could outbench a punter (who had 23 reps).

Still I think 21 reps is fine. I'm sure his arms are a lot longer than the punters. Plus punter and kickers usually put up high reps, because they have more time to workout. Look at Ben Turk and Brindza's lifting numbers.
