With how our D will be I dunno if this can happen but remember what happened last time we were ranked really low and faced an extremely daunting schedule? Not saying it will happen again but I'm just sayin.

Terrible, as expected. ND is rated way too low. How is USC ranked that high (15), when ND beat them. In fact, I see 3 teams ranked ahead of ND that they BEAT (Michigan State, Arizona State, USC)

Way I see it, ND should be at 15, but with the playoff, ND will just barnstorm their way in like they did in the BCS last season.

Should Pitt be above ND??

Awful way to think about it. Should Pitt be ahead of ND? Should Michigan? It has nothing to do with 2013... I seriously hope you don't believe some of the stuff you type.

Stanford and Oregon are rated too high imo. Also replace Florida with Texas, the gators show absolutely no reason why they should be ranked in the top 50 let alone the top 25. Also not sure if Mich St. can repeat last years impressive results.

ND is about right I think. Have to break-in in both new coordinators, and I guess re-break-in Golson at Qb. I really don't know about the defense. At the same time we lose Nix and Tuitt, I feel their impact wasn't really great this past year and a healthy squad next year with a lot of position battles might result in stronger conformed identity with greater depth all-around.

How in the FUCK is Georgia ranked 11? Florida at 25? What the fuck? ESECPN isn't even trying to hide it anymore.

Georgia will be loaded next season. They go as their new QB goes and he played pretty solid in their bowl game taking A. Murray's place. If they stay healthy they will fight S.Carolina for the East. Florida should not be ranked. The talent is there... but talent alone doesn't win games.

Stanford - everyone said their rating was way to high last year... They get a lot back.

USC - showed a bunch of improvement as the year went on. Sark will provide a spark. Expect Stanford and USC to compete for PAC12 championship. ASU, UCLA, and a few others will make some noise, but the days of USC being a wounded dog are almost over I believe.

UGA - loaded. If you're not familiar with their season, they were decimated by injuries.

Florida - loaded as well, also decimated by injury. Coaching and O scheme suck, but they still will improve a ton over last year.

ND - we took an obvious step back this year on both sides of the ball. If Golson comes back strong, probably should be higher but that's a big if for those outside of ND fans. Many questions on D as well. New O and D coordinators. Bottom line, all we need to do is win and we'll move up. Not worried about way to early polls.

I would rather the team prepare for 2014 with the no respect chip on their shoulder than having big expectations thrown their way.

The Tar Heels played very well the last half of the season. Plus, they have a lot of young guys that played big roles for them this season. I think they are worthy of the hype, but their schedule doesn't help with who they play on the road. Could end up being a better team overall but have a worse record when it's all over.

I will have to take your word for it....but I will look at it its another notch in our schedule if we beat em, even thought thats when they will be considered over rated.

Err I am pretty sure the injury bug hit us pretty good this year as well.

I'm curious why exactly UNC, Iowa, and Washington are getting the love in this poll that they are. I don't see it. I also have serious questions about A&M and Clemson. Arizona State should still be dynamic on offense, but their defense potentially loses NINE starters. That's... a lot.

Alternatively, where the heck is Missouri? They lose a lot, but their offense should be very good with the weapons they have back there. I also would have Arizona in my pre-season top 25. I think Rich Rod is about to make some noise.

Maybe 20-25 yes.. but I think they will do well in the ACC next year (they could be 10-2 easily if they cut down on mistakes and shore up some holes on D). I don't recall if Ebron is going to the NFL next year but he is the #1 TE in the country right now. I don't want to face him.

Their QB and RB did really well last year and will be a headache for most Defenses.
