Assuming Bridgewater declares for the draft this year, is Louisville any good without him? Haven't seen much of them and their schedule this year seemed a little weak.

that and good chance strong could be coaching elsewhere

I wouldn't call Louisville a toss up, even with Bridgewater. I watched plenty of them this year and they were not that good. They were a product of hype for beating an overrated Florida team. Louisville at home for ND is a W.

Might be true but considering at least one of Northwestern/Navy/Purdue will give us trouble I think it's safe to assume we have 5 toss up games overall.

That's fine but we are bound to lose one of the games we expect to win. With a new DC, OC and a depleated D-line we can't just expect to pencil all the lesser opponents in as wins.

I think we're thinking about "toss up" differently. Yes, Purdue COULD beat us, but we should win that game. When I said "win" I meant "should be," not "definitely will be." "Toss up" refers to a coin toss, i.e. a 50/50 game. If Purdue is a 50/50 game for us, we have some problems.

What's making you think the d-line will be depleted?

If Tuitt also leaves, I would call it depleted. If he stays, I am not ready to call it depleted.

Next year looks just brutal, and 2016 could be rough as well. 2015 looks to be ND best chance.

Agreed, though collectively taken as a grind 2015 is not 'easy' by any means...

No Nix, no Shembo, no Schwenke, potentially no Tuitt, no true NT, no experienced depth. We might have bodies but Day is the only one that has proved anything.

I think we've been spoiled with star power the lest few years on the d-line. There's a chance we won't have that next year. Who knows, maybe Rochell emerges next year.

It's not depleted, it just has the chance to lack star power.

Never fear, I'm sure there will be enough BS loses to the ACC to make you forget all about the big10...

Rice - Win
Michigan - Win
Purdue - Win
Cuse - Win
Stanford - Toss up
North Carolina - Win
FSU - Loss
Navy - Win
Arizona State - Win
Northwestern - Win
Louisville - Toss up
USC - Win

I see one loss and two toss-ups.

Louisville is a toss up at home but ASU and USC are wins on the road?

Why couldn't we flip that that Syracuse game with the bye so we can have the bye heading into the Stanford-NC-FSU stretch...smh

I still don't understand how ND fans continue to pencil in UM as a win for like the upteeth straight year as if they have never once paid attention to that rivalry...

I don't know if it's funny or insanely maddening that ND fans continue to pencil in UM as a win for like the upteeth straight year as if they have never once paid attention to that rivalry...

I don't get it either.

Michigan has won 6 of the last 8 games and turned the ball over 6 times in each of their two losses.

Louisville is simply not that good, even with Bridgewater. We should be the favorite to win that game regardless of whether Bridgewater returns. If he declares for the NFL draft, I put Louisville in the same category as Northwestern. Should win by a possession or two, but both teams could be dangerous if we dont play well.

I have a wedding FSU week. FUCK.

Me too. Mine. I have been praying every day since we set that date that the 18th would stay as a bye.........
