Cam needs to grow his hair out and become Tim Riggins minus the alcoholism. That's all I'm saying.
Um what? Amir and Cam run nothing alike, yes they are both small and can catch the ball well but that is where the similarities end. Cam is much tougher between the tackles and seems to enjoy contact, while Amir lives more on his quickness/speed and seems to avoid contact.

I definitely think if Cam gets a decent opportunity he would be hard to displace. Consistency is his game and coaches have repeatedly said he always makes the right reads. Is his as explosive as others in the RB group? Of course not but i just think he can do a great job in this Offense.
I wonder would happen if Cam were black and his name Ladarius or Tre'von.
His carries against Miami was garbage time. Miami had given up. They got punched in the mouth and gave up. Hence why we didn't try to score with him running the ball.
And I believe he was only cross trained in spring, or am I not remembering that correctly?
I just don't get why people like Cam more than GAIII. GAIII at times looked really good - I remember certain runs against Stanford, MSU and USC that showed his skills..actually throw in his TD run against BYU.
Also, GAIII looked great against Miami too. The only game Cam actually looked good...
I tried to explain it to you, and instead you argued with me. It is pretty simple. It comes down to noses. So far Cam's has been harder. And so far you change facts to suit your argument; even Mike Mayock was ebullient and effuse in his praise of Cam's one man touchdown drive, (being that everyone from Miami knew where the ball was going and still couldn't stop him.) You and Mark Mayock must have been watching a different game.
Furthermore: A few of you are putting freshmen that haven't even been on campus into starting roles on offense. I saw Corey Robinson and James Onwaulu contributing, but starting? Give them a chance to grow up, a little!
Lol ok man, but we haven't seen enough of Cam in actual meaningful game time. Miami gave up. Cam looked average in the Wake game. Thoughts on that? Thoughts on how GAIII looked fantastic in the Miami game? Better than Cam?
So far, we don't know if Cam's nose has been harder because he has half the carries and averages 2 yards less a carry. Plus he got zero carries in any actual high pressure game time.
Since you seem to know Mayock, does he also prefer Cam over GAIII? Or are you just remembering Mayock talking highly of him during garbage time in 1 game in which Cam got roughly 50% of his carries?
As Kelly said earlier, Louis Nix is giving our centers (looks like Martin will beat our Hegarty) great training.
Did any of you notice James Onwaulu in the highlight. Strong enough to keep to his route with a defender in his face, shield the ball with his body, and sprint for the TD.
If he keeps this up he will be another Michael Floyd.
There I said it, and I am glad I said it, too!
This is a crazy thought probably, but could it turn out to be Elmer at RT???
I never said Cam doesn't enjoy the contact, I said that neither of them will make their living between the tackles. Doesn't mean he can't go there occasionally, but he won't make the majority of his runs tackle to tackle. As far as Amir goes, I'm not sure that anyone can say for sure at this point whether he seems to avoid contact, he doesn't have much college level game action to base that opinion on.
