Wow Chris Brown is a boss! I hope him and Davonte Neal get to see the field this year.

Also liking what I have seen from Ishaq, I think he will have a big year.

Yes! He looks A LOT bigger than he did last year at this time. I think Ishaq and Tuitt will break the scene and become known through out the college football year come January

Dude no offence, but you think everyone will break out, hopefully the team will play to your expectations!

Well, Im thinking Tuitt, Ishaq, GA3, and Golson will break out.

For everyone else, I just hope they have a good year

Minus the DBs, who dont look so hot

If they show any passing play from practice, either the DB's, WR's or QB's won't look super. It is impossible for them all to look really good on every play. I honestly don't think that these practice tapes, where you get a handful of plays out of dozens, tell us enough to form good opinions on. Just going to have to wait to see how it plays out in the fall, I think.

[On a related note, I thought Cam McDaniels looked pretty decent at corner in the handful of reps I saw in practice videos, and he ends up getting moved back to offense.]

It's a broken kneecap. He's out for the season. My source is TP.

Ouch. Let's hope for a good recovery and good thing he is a back up and not a starter.

Sometimes I wonder who TP is, you know what I mean? How does he get information like this? Sometimes we will get a poster that has a close relationship with one recruit and that is it. TP on the other hand, seems to have "inside info" on every recruit and now he has inside info on the team and players? Whoever you are TP, I really appreciate your work. I think we can all say that you won't find information that he gives us anywhere else.

Sorry for my little rant

Nichols suffered the same injury in fall camp last year, no? Raises serious questions about his durability going forward.

Wow, so not good. Our tackle depth is pretty scary all of a sudden.

Not saying you're wrong but Mike Frank said earlier tonight he heard Nichols' injury wasn't serious and he'd be back later this week.

I'm just sharing what I heard. TP also told me Chris Watt got a concussion but he is going to be back this week. So it might be that :whoknows:. I trust TP though.

I have had multiple dislocated knee caps. It is easy to do. I never stopped playing. It depends which way it is dislocated, (inside-outside, other dammage) and why. It can just pop out or something can be "torn" so it sort of hangs. Guess which is worse. If it is caused by a congential problem, he may as well hang it up.

Earlier it was reported as a broken knee cap, which I would take as a fracture. I don't know if there is a treatment for that, damn seizmoid bone and all . . .

He had a less severe leg injury and shoulder surgery kept him out next year. Tate Nichols Out For Year; Injury Updates
Really sucks about it. Hopefully he can recoop after this. This makes Prestwood leaving more detrimental

Damn I like the 11-11 for QBs but it's really hurting the team injury wise.

For Bog... when it comes to a fractured patella, it depends on the severity. If really bad, they can wire it back together. If its incomplete, they just let it rest and heal on it's own. As for a dislocated patella, medial and lateral are the same. Each is an imbalance of quad musculature to one way or the other. It is usually fixed fairly simply. I rehabed a guy pretty quickly this summer with one. It's really only an ongoing problem with females.

As for TP, he's legit. People need to stop questioning him and trust his info when he pops on.

How do you break your knee cap? I feel like all the injuries so far has put every player "out for the season." There's nothing less severe.

And if Chris Watt suffered a concussion, there's no way he's back within a week. I would hope that the medical staff has a serious procedure for treating concussions and easing a player back into activity.

Good thing Big Ron Stanley is turning heads at camp. Sounds like we might need him to step up if we keep losing linemen. I know it's not ideal for a freshman to play, especially on the OL. But there's been chatter recently that he's playing pretty well and could be a formidable backup if the situation presented itself.

Sorry but a dislocated kneecap (which is also what I heard it was before you posted) does not sideline someone for 3+ months. It has to be more than that if you're saying he's out for the year. Had this happen to two teammates in high school and it was a 4-6 week recovery.

If you dislocate the knee (not the kneecap) or also tear some ligaments.... that's another story. But a simple dislocated kneecap would under most circumstances have him back after our bye week at worst.

Actually, that newbert Naptown was the one that said something bad happened first and all of you dudes gave him a bunch of crap about it. Furthermore, if TP is telling people that it's a "dislocated knee cap", as LAX said, it's not a season long type of injury. So there is either more to the injury than TP told, its a different injury all together or it's less severe than he made it. Either way, there is more to TP's version of the story.

But I could see why all of the hero-worshipers would want to tack this on to their imaginary "TP is always right" board. Again... whether you like it or not.... Naptown was the first person on the board that said something, and his post was deleted and he was ostracized.

Yes Bog, I'm calling you a woman. ONLY women dislocate their patella. (the person I rehabbed this summer was a dude).

How do you break it you ask? A traumatic event straight to it such as smashing your knee into the steering column during a car crash. Something of that sort.

Naptown made it out to be that someone died. One does not say a heavy heart for a dislocated patella. I did just see on twitter that one of ND's media colleagues is dealing with a tragedy. That could be what he was talking about. Irish Illustrated ‏@NDatRivals
Say a prayer for our ND media colleague Allison Hayes, who is dealing with tragedy today. Tragic loss for FOX28 Sports Anchor Allison Hayes - Fox 28: South Bend, Elkhart IN News, Weather, Sports

I'll leave the TP thing alone as not to insite more hostility; he's a good dude.
