Frosh that impressed with their physique: Elijah Shumate, Davonte Neal and Romeo Okwara.

My highlight from practice we got to see: TE Troy Niklas flipping over the one-man blocking sled twice in a row.
Welp.
@NDatRivals: On back-to-back reps, Hendrix and Golson did an imitation of Tommy Rees' untouched fumble at Michigan. Chuck Martin watches perplexed.

Everett first team reps.
Party time.

He was called Hercules and he had little extra, and he has put on eight or nine pounds of muscle? He gonna break some d's all by himself this year!
First team defense: KLM, Kona, Tuitt, Fox, Manti, Spond, Shembo, Slaughter, Motta, Lo Wood and Bennett Jackson.
Second team defense: Nix, Day, Hounshell, Councell, Ishaq, Grace, Carlo, McCarthy, Salvi, Jalen Brown and Josh Atkinson
I knew the depth chart would obviously look something like this, but now seeing it, just a few weeks before the first game, makes me a tad nervous.
Is Kona ahead of Nix surprising to anyone? Has Schwenke erupted out of nowhere like some Hawaiian volcano to become a force at NG? I assume they're basically 1a and 1b?

I had a dream last night that Hendrix won the job.
My guess is Salvi will not be in the two deep by time Navy rolls around.
Why?
What's wrong with Hounshell. He played last year. He was not highly rated, but he has a big time mean streak.
