Chip Kelly needs to stay at Oregon. He'll be back in college in 2 or 3 years when he realizes that everyone on defence is just as fast as everyone on offence, and 2 or 3 deep.

I do agree to a certain extent with this, but the idea is to play your strength against other teams defense. Meaning he has the advantage due to speed, but he is probably capable of creating diiferent schemes for pros. I would be happy with him going to pros.

I can see it. Last year Saban was the primary guest speaker at a Coaches clinic that i attended. He does have a real soft spot for the Browns. Spent a lot of time talking about his time there coaching DB's. If there is one NFL team that could pull him away from the Tide, I believe it would be the Browns. Let his coaching career go full circle.

You can pretty much rest assured that if/when there are any updates, they will be posted here before most of us even know about it.

Let his coaching career go full circle.

Yeah, this will be interesting to follow. Some college coaches who do a stint in the NFL and then come back to college seem just to be more comfortable in college (Spurrier). Other guys seem that way for a while, but ultimately decide they have unfinished business in the NFL (Pete Carroll). Not sure whether Saban is the former or the latter.

This seems far-fetched and way out of WKU budget, but maybe Petrino is looking to get back as a head coach and will have to take a stepping stone job to do it. I dont think this will happen, but my buddy is pretty good source on WKU and was pretty on the spot about Taggart to USF fwiw.

per multiple UT twitter feeds and forums, Tee Martin is in Knoxville with his family today and it is expected to officially announce he will take the final offensive spot on Butch's staff.

As noted here, this could potentially hurt USC's class, mainly the kids Tee has recruited from the southeast. As noted by others, this would be Jalen Ramsey and Jason Hatcher.

How the times have changed in Bowling Green. Simply 5 years ago we were drowning in the FCS with the fumbling David Elson. Now we are on the verge of our 1st ever FBS bowl game and our next head coach is Petrino.

They where talking on Mike&Mike this morning about Saban leaving for the NFL. They mentioned how those around Saban say the man takes no joy in winning anymore. Maybe this becomes a distraction for bama.

It was also mentioned that Adam Schefter said that Chip Kelly was almost certain to go to the NFL next year.
