Ok, thought I would get the ball rolling here, since we all know Bobby D could be a viable canidate for some jobs.

What we know at this point:
- Joker is out. Ky is a really tough job and chances are, the new coach will be someone trying to make a name for himself. I would expect a MAC or Sun Belt coach taking the gig as a step up. I have a hard time seeing someone like Diaco, Smart or any other big time assistant taking this gig.
- Tedford and Dooley are on the hot seat. I personally have a hard time seeing either school making a move, but for different reasons. UT needs stability. After Fulmer and Kiffen, making another change could be more harm than good. UT seems like it is close, but it has been that way for awhile. Cal spent hundreds of millions spicing up the stadium. But, firing Tedford now could cost the school $7m, not counting assistant coaches severance. Tough call here with the budget situation in Cali and the debt of the new stadium. My hunch is one more year.
-Ferentz has a warm seat. He needs a strong finish and losing to IU is not going to help.
- Chizik looks like toast and Arkansas will hire someone new. I actually think Petrino could finally make it Auburn after all these years. Also, keep an eye on Dan Mullen. He has really improved MSU, but he could be hitting a ceiling there. If I were him, I would jump to greener pastures like Arkansas or even UT if that becomes available.

This is the start of a thread that should get interesting as time moves forward.

First post, been reading others for awhile. I went to WKU for undergrad and despite their poor showing against MTSU this week I think Willie Taggert has done a great job there. Took WKU from probably the worst FBS team in the nation to 6-6 last year and I think are 6-3 right now with close losses to UL Monroe, MTSU, and 30 pts to Bama. I could see Willie drawing interest from some of these schools, in particular UK.

I read somewhere that Joker could end up at ND as a coordinator.

Ferentz isn't going anywhere. There is some ridiculous $25million buyout for him to part ways with Iowa.

I always liked Reid compared to most of the people in my city but I think he needs to go. Some other NFL team will hire him.

I'm actually dead serious.

Jesus Chrimety.... That was the worst offensive line performance I ever saw in the NFL.

Auburn team meeting this afternoon; players expected to be told Chizik will not return

Bruce Feldman‏@BFeldmanCBS

Gene Chizik has been told that he is out at Auburn as the Tigers head coach a source just told me.

From an Oregon fan on an NFL board I post on:

Everything I have heard Chip is leaving Oregon. I heard rumors he has having Helfrich take some duties now as if he was HC. Said Chip won't blow an NFL chance 2 times and stock won't get higher.

On Dan Patrick show he said he backed out last minute because he didn't want to leave Oregon without a capable head coach, and now he feels they would have one.

I'm kind of shocked. Being a QB in the NFL with his offense is asking to get hurt lol. Imagine Ray Lewis waiting for you to run the read option. Good night Irene.

Anyone think Kiffin is on the hot seat? I think hell get another year. Though, he has been outcoached consistently all season, his team undisciplined, and his dad really not helping his cause.
