He's not an EE, so I doubt they can have him put on 20-30 pounds in two months. More than likely an APB guy in his first year
Not really talking about two months. I'm sure they've given him a plan to follow before he even shows up, but I'm more or less talking about his first full season.
keep him lean and let him do many things. making him a between the tackles RB is silly you dont hitch a wagon to a ferrari
This is kind of where I'm at.
He doesnt have a very big frame so I dont know how fast weight will come to him. And he looks pretty lean naturally. Im not saying the juice wont do its thing but not sure if his body type will allow him to be a between the tackles type back.
I could see him a great for running routes out of the backfield as well as lining up in the slot. Pass blocking 275 lb DEs and 300 lb DTs...not so much
His body has changed a whole lot in the last two years if you look at the pics. He's 180ish right now and 5-10, and has thickened up in the legs and arms. Still pretty narrow and room for muscle IMO. I think he could easily put on 10lbs of additional muscle before showing up. I wonder if he's stopped growing vertically.
If you look at Swift and Etienne in HS, there's about a 10-15lb difference and both made pretty good gains from Jr to Frosh years.
I just hope they don't rush him. I think he could easily add 10-15lbs, but don't really want them to put on more that that in a years time. I could see him being 210-220 by his JR or SR year with simple steady muscle growth.
