that's some big offers for a 89 rated kid from MI
He's not an 89, closer to a 99. He's a unicorn when it comes to athleticism. I was skeptical in the beginning and Mills was way above him on my board but then the interest/offers took off and you have to take note of that. Then I really started looking at his film and film of him from his teammates Hudl pages and he doesn't pull any Kevin Pyne's. But what has sent me over the top is his basketball highlights. This guy is way different. His explosiveness on these one step flushes are extremely impressive, especially for a guy his size. That's gonna translate.
These are guys that ND needs at this stage of the game, 5* athletes that have the potential to become gamewreckers, even if they aren't 5* rated yet, they never become a 5*, or haven't produced at 5* levels on the HS field or at summer camps.
ND has enough very good players on the roster that they can take chances. I don't think McGregor is a reach by any means but you know there are starwhore Irish fans that are WTFing ND paying so much attention to a 3*. I had to correct a pack of them elsewhere when they questioned why ND would waste its time on a 3* OT named Tosh Baker who plays in a football wasteland like Arizona, when they can get anyone they want.
Baker & McGregor are at the very top of my list for '20 at #1 & #2. Bijan Robinson is the only prospect that could top them but it's too early in his recruitment for that.
