Another CB for Clemson part of the Bud Elliott data dump today.

This recruitment if frustrating. Seems like a kid who ND could have jumped way out in front for with an early offer but apparently they didn't like him as much as he liked them last summer.

The dream school curse is real.

4th highest attendance for a spring game in the country (71,000 fans) and apparently somewhere between 50-75 recruits on campus from different recruiting cycles this past weekend, it makes sense that some of the recruits bit on the hype. For Penn State, Nebraska, Georgia, Alabama, and others with crazy spring game attendance, these weekends are huge. Just have to hope some of our biggest prospects didn't get reeled in by the hype (Rodas Johnson was there).

Hopefully we can get him on campus one more time before he picks the Nittany Lions. He’s a good prospect and would be a great add but all signs point to Penn State

I doubt they're even in contact him at this point. They were late and surprisingly never generated any real buzz. When the 3 services have no update for months, 99/100 it's dead. Haven't even seen him connected to ND by Mid-Atlantic analysts either.

Anyways, he's a safety in college and ND's fine there.

Yes. Very strong swing in VT crystal balls over the last 12 hours or so. They went from basically zero percent to 48% and are currently the leader in the clubhouse.

Va Tech wasn't even in his top 8 that he tweeted back at the end of April. It's not like Va Tech just recently offered either.

FWIW, per multiple 247 sites he actually reached out to ND as well and they declined. That means several staffs passed him up. He’s literally been searching for a place to commit.

Looks like Penn State is targeting Lewis Cine for the last DB spot in this class. I can only assume he is not a take at Clemson either. Probably why Kelly reached out to ND and is potentially going "off the board" by potentially picking Va Tech.
