Also, he should be visiting for the Spring Game, or at least at some point prior to his decision. Something that keeps coming up is his faith. That's very important to him and his family, and it sounds like he bonded with some current players about that.

I certainly hope ND is mindful or of these West African immigrants who are Catholic. Very devout and connected to the church as soon as they get here. Football is a good sport to matriculate to for many after growing up playing soccer, basketball and in an increasing number of cases, rugby.

As more & more leave there for life in the States, ND should take a page out of BYU & Utah's playbook w/ Poly/LDS kids and shoot to become the default dream school for them.

I think it's ND vs. Texas A&M here

Of course it is.

The only thing that can challenge is Bama. Their offer is fresh and well, they're Bama. They're known to do pretty well with players who possess NOM's skillset.

A&M has always been extremely popular at Nolan. Probably the school with the most members of my graduating class. TCU would have been a close second.

Nolan doesn't send a ton of kids to ND, but there at least used to be some alumni on staff.

We've certainly had a number of Africans (or sons of African immigrants) in recent years. Prince Shembo. The Okwara bothers. JOK. Ogundeji. Not a bad pipeline.

Gotta beat the Aggies for this status. Get in now, before it becomes the trend, because they've already got a strong Catholic presence at A&M. Beat them now before this becomes a lost cause

So ISD's confidence here lately has been interesting. As Christian has stated he has a really good source on this one, we probably know what that means.

With that said, this might be taking it to another level. Coming off of a A&M visit on Feb. 3rd, Brian Perroni of Gig'em 247 CB'd him to ND today. May 19th can't get here soon enough.

Edit: Here's his post.

Basically, ND leads at the moment. OU and A&M still in it, but LSU most likely out.

Sounds like a recruiting trip for Coach Jimmy Dolan.

This Perroni CB today is absolute music.

When NOM signs with ND, it's getting the... Do you like Apples? GIF
treatment with Lea, Elko and NOM's signed LOI like the Brady/Goodell mash-up.

would be a great pick up for ND. pretty soon these top DL are going to figure out that if they pick ND they could be a 3 or 4 year starter, ND has no DL depth.

Gotta feel confident if a kid is digging up and re-posting three-year-old ND gifs. Also, give Elston a ton of credit for not taking the Lea promotion as a slight and re-doubling his efforts on the recruiting trail. He’s building a championship caliber D-line with this class.

I was thinking the same thing last week.
For the first time in LONG time, I'm getting excited about our DL and DBs.
