Who from the '18 class is gonna play center? Luke Jones? Nobody?

Quinn talked about Luke Jones a OC a couple of times. Never heard him say that about Patterson. The only place I have seen Patterson talked about as an OC is on message boards (but I could be wrong).

Interesting to see Zeke as a OC, I had him pegged at OG. Maybe Jones and Zeke cross train and let the chips fall where they... you know... may.

This pick up totally made my day, very excited.

I'm going to play center and I will early enroll, so if I early enroll and come in at center, Sam Mustipher will be gone next year -- he's a true senior," Correll said. "So if I come in and work hard at it, I have the potential chance to get in so I'm looking forward to learning the position.

Quinntastic!
Huge get.
96, 93, 93, and 88 (which could improve).
Incredible first year.

With the addition, we're now #4 in team rankings. Tenth in average rating.

Yeah, the fact that he's ready to play the C position and he's coming in ready to work. This will spell nothing but good things for him and our line.

I agree 100%. I had him as an OG on my "dream oline" class but this could mean a move to OG for Jones who Quinn liked at center. However with Jones being 6'6'' he might be better suited to Guard. Maybe they both play. Maybe I will win the lottery... Who knows, but it is sure fun to think about.

I thought I heard Driskel or one of the BGI guys say that Zeke measured in at closer to 6'3 then 6'4''. Strong athletic kid, how is mean. I like mean.

Here's his overall updated R&R's:

Kinda crazy how Carroll and Olmstead have dropped from being top ten position players for...what reasons exactly? They haven't been camping?

That, they are wrapped up for ND early and they project to be OG's at ND which isn't sexy for R&R's. LSU commit Kardell Thomas is as dominant of a player in the class as anyone and because he's a 6-3 OG, he's just a 95. Dude's a 5* period.

But it comes down to this for me... Who do I believe more: the 33+ P5 programs that offered these guys off where they were a year ago or the collection of washed up former DIII golfer/journalism majors that work for the pay sites?

Olmstead and Carrol have the highest floors of any OL's in this class, they literally have no downside on or off the field. If either would have been in TK's place, they would have gone into the same trajectory.

There is no consistency to these rankings at all. Olmstead is a good case and Ajavon. Both are top 100 guys on rivals, but 247 ranks them outside the top 300. There is no way Ajavon is worse than Byryson Shaw. Craziness!

As a follow up George Karlaftis went from 12 to 9. Craziness!

All is well. my colleagues. Our 4 OL will form a mighty fist-of-doom causing defenses to "spit chiclets" until they march on to happy NFL teams. We gonna be Beast on the OLine for the next decade. ... and the next ZMart and Q are coming in the assembly line somewhere. ND is BACK as to OLine power.

Straight up if I was that size and my coaches told me to play A Gap I'd tell them to go down to the market and buy their own sacrificial lamb.

Didn't know we were recruiting Foskey as our guy to take over the kickoff responsibilities.
