I don't know if this has been brought up yet but it was news to me so I'll post it. In article Sinclair did today about the current 19' committed class, he mentioned that Kyren is a EE.
He should be, he has every opportunity to earn minutes the first season he puts on the gold helmet. I'm not saying he's a lock but the roster isn't very imposing right now. The first four games will tell us a lot about what we have.
While I think it's a great opportunity for him, due to the lack of proven production, at this time. And he brings a high quality skillset to the position, he'll still have 4 guys in front of him. With Avery Davis being a potential 5th as he looks to getting some snaps as an APB. And some of those guys I expect to be making contributions this year.
Agreed, time will tell, but it can't hurt him to throw his hat in the ring as early as possible.
I have a hard time not seeing Jafar Armstrong make a name for himself this fall. He impressed in the Spring Game, FWIW, even though he had a nagging injury. Seems to have an impressive burst and finished his runs through contact.
Physically, this is Tarean Folston 2.0. Started off 5-9/180ish, will end up 5-9.5/5-10 & 215+. 247 says Williams is at 200 now, I can easily see the weight he's put on in the past year. I think Folston was over 190ish when he reported to ND.

Just a little tid bit on Kyren Williams from a ranking perspective.
247 - 89 (26th best RB/APB) - 25 4*'s in the ratings, so he's number one 3*
Rivals - 5.7 (34th best ATH) - 27 4*'s in the ratings, he's got 6 six kids between him & 4*
ESPN - 80
I think it's really a matter of time before Kyren gets a ratings bump with how he's performing. I know it's Missouri high school football which isn't like Georgia, Florida, or Texas, but he's toying with kids in Mizzou.
It's good football, but its not Texas, Georgia, or Florida. I'm glad he's dominating teams. 10/5 7PM against Christian Brothers will be an awesome test to see how he does. That's a legitimately awesome high school team he's going up against.
Is it just me or does he run a little like Golden?
This will probably please you even more. First 4 game highlight. Kid is fun to watch
